  1. BWD has certainly made Mr Shovlar look like a donkey's ass after the latter's twenty million posts re Swindon cheating for using THJ instead at BV. What a total numpty 👍 CMon you Robins..
  2. You are incorrigible Steve,, Who have been the biggest cheats in UK Speedway for the last 10 years or so ? As you and everyone else knows - it is the 'Dick Dastardly' Poole Pirates ! So stop whinging and congratulate the Robins for some Matt Fordish team replacements..
  3. Thanks for that link, I've just purchased it.. This book is probably the best speedway tome I've read - so good, i've bought it twice
  4. I bought this book upon release and found it most interesting and entertaining I subsequently lent it to a mate, who kept it and moved to Reading !
  5. T'was a little joke Lisa I was just trying to be as 'humorous' as that witty Mr Shovlar..
  6. The result should be amended, BWD points nulled for that heat and everyone else moves up a place. It's so sad to see referees who don't know the rules - not good enough I remember Kyle Newman breaking the rules by riding without goggles The result was allowed to stand and Poole won the POs..
  7. A belated well done to the Rockinest of Robins for seeing off the woeful title favourites - the mighty Poole Pirates ! The 3rd victory for the Robins at the plowed field this year ! The away victory was made even sweeter as the Robins were severely weakened by the absence of their injured reserves BWD and ZK... However, against all the odds, the Robins put the Pirates firmly in their place on Monday It's not over yet though... Btw, sad to see so many Poole fans unable to take defeat with dignity
  8. Why don't you revert back to supporting PBoro - you then might not get so worked up and might even look less of a tw@t
  9. As you are an advocate of the 'win at all cost' mentality, I really think you should be congratulating Swindon on their late change at reserve It is an excellent move by Rosco to get the former Pirate in as a replacement for BWD - and quite hilarious too ! Personally, I would have preferred to BWD to be fit to ride, however riding on the potholed plowed field that is WR would obviously aggravate his injury. Anyway, stop your griping and let's all hope that the meeting is on and the Robins edge the 1st leg
  10. You tell everyone on here that you know what's going on.. Then, when people ask for more info you disappear Absolutely appalling behaviour
  11. Never heard of him, any relation to Ronnie or Roy or even Natalie or Victoria ? Fair play to him for giving it a go though, but we will definitely miss Adam, Zack and BWD tonight.. A romp for the Rockets then, which will sadly bring the winning run to an end..
  12. Have a good laugh Steve, it's really not that important.. However, there really is only one club with arrogant 'win at all cost' supporters and we all know who they are don't we.. We have been on a good run lately, much to the chagrin of some down in Dorset, but the PO's are anyone's to win. I just want to watch some competitive and exciting racing, sadly that is getting harder to find these days.. As for your last sentence, please look closer to home, I thought you were more intelligent than that
  13. Had two visiting Australian friends drive up from Portishead for yesterday's meeting. When the rain started in Old Town it was fairly obvious that the meeting was in serious doubt. We monitored events on this thread and when the hour delay was announced, we had a couple of drinks instead The right decision was finally made but little consideration was given to the travelling fans.. BTW...total fixture farce
  14. Musielak was an inspired signing and has certainly made a huge difference,, As for Champions, we'll wait and see. You must be in the deepest of despairs at the moment Steve Nevermind though eh ! You Robins
  15. Congratulations once more to the Rockin' Robins A 10 point win at Lynn without Jason and Zach followed by the seeing off some dubious Lions from Leicester to make it 10 in a row ! A special mention to Rosco and his team building this year, Bellego and Musielak have both been been way better than expected whilst Nick, BWD and Zach have all improved significantly. Jason has done his job at No 1, so all we need now is Adam to finally come to the party and there is still time for that BTW...Good luck to Lynn for the rest of the season, a brave move - although everyone tires of whingers eventually..
  16. Well,I believe last night's victory makes it 8 wins in a row Admittedly it was against poor opposition (it's not often you can say that about Poole) - but the Rockinest ones march on ! Desperately sad news about Zach, we will definitely miss him..
