  1. I went to Leicester a few times last season, great crowd and good banter everytime, and will definetly return this season and probably not just to watch Ipswich. I know they had to drop some points, and losing Lawson for Howarth for me is a real kick in the teeth for a good bunch of Supporters, but thats the Points situation i suppose, but i have to say getting Craig Cook back is a disaster in my opinion only, i hope im wrong, but if i was a Leicester fan, that would dissappoint me more than Howarth. But their Gaffa does change things around, he isnt afraid to do that, so we will wait and see, if Cook wasn't 1st choice, and i expect that is true, then who was??
  2. I can assure you 100% Kvech was NEVER in their plans, and it was another club trying to get him b4 Lynn, but they had no security at the time as to whether they would come to tapes. It's as simple as that. On this Musielak ongoing argument, i see he's only walked away from 1 club in the UK since his time Racing here, and i can't find it anywhere else that he's walked out on anybody else, but happy to be proven wrong??
  3. Not arguing with some of your facts, but let's get it straight, Ipswich NEVER spoke with Kvech for next season...NEVER
  4. Absolutely Spot On, and they have tried with Keynan Rew now for weeks, as Arch Stanton quite rightly has said many times, Belle Vue have Zack Cook already in, but he is right, let's wait and see, we know Mr Lemon can change things at last minute, and now Louis has called Keynan's bluff as they say, Keynan suddenly becoming available might mean a last minute change for Belle Vue, and they would do that without a seconds thought about Zack, they are no different to Ipswich or Sheffield, if they want to change Zack at the last minute, they will, it's that simple. I would say either way, out of these 2 named riders, 1 will be at Belle Vue and 1 will be in the Birmingham septet.
  5. I have to agree with you on that, i don't think Tom joining Ipswich was ever the problem with them naming their 7, issues elsewhere, but Birmingham have really got to pull a couple of rabbits out of the hat now to get the crowds in Perry Bar. And as TTT says, if Pete Adams gets involved, i expect a few surprises in that line up??
  6. Looks very likely now the final 2 are Doyle and Brennan, and to be honest, that is some side. Dissappointing to see Keynan leave (If True), especially if it is to do with Money, but i suppose we won't ever know that. On where Keynan goes, could be Birmingham although some have mentioned he might not do the UK this season, which would also be sad, especially after the season he had last year. Belle Vue is touted but by all accounts Zack Cook replaces his brother Ben as the only change there, so don't know what to think. Buit its the Annual P*** up this week, so i'm sure we will know a lot more by the end of the week. Quite a lot on here who get slated for posting teams and being in the know as they say, have this silly season got a lot right, and yes it keeps the forum going, and i thank them for keeping the Boring months when Speedway is finished entertaining. I just love this sport, and we need to keep the UK Flag flying.
  7. A lot of people hear different things, and supporters talk, and this time of the year as ive been told by very reliable sources, that things can literally change at the very last minute. It may of happened here, but it may not of done, Doyle and Brennan could easily be the last 2 announced and Keynan has decided to go somewhere else, whatever the final decision by the club is made we as Supporters just need to buckle down and get on with it. I was one of those that didn't think Danny Should return this season, and I standby that, but i certainly won't be against him once those Witches Kevlars are on him in early March. He has taken some serious stick over the last 24 Hours from some quarters, and I'm always a big believer in if you pay your money you are entitled to an opinion....But some of the rubbish Danny has received over Yesterday and today for me is a bit OTT, have a sporting opinion yes, but let's not let it turn nasty. He has a Family that reads this stuff as well. To be fair, my 2 sources are not far out with the Ipswich side they predicted, and i still trust them, quite a few of us, if not ALL of us thought one of Danny or Adam would be the one to make way for Brennan, and it could be Rew who makes way due to a number of reasons. We will just have to wait and see, still could be twists and turns....
  8. Spot On, He never even spoke with Ipswich in 2023, coz Ipswich were never in for him, so sadly not bitter at all, just stating the truth on the Anders situation in 2023. Needed to be addressed with truths rather than hearsay and Tittle Tattle.
  9. He was wanted last season, i can 100% tell you that, and i can confirm 100% he wasn't spoken to by Lynn at any stage for this season. So many rumours on here, which we all get sucked into, but the Jordan Jenkins scenario, I don't need to get involved in rumour on Jordan, they are Facts. Boughen was always signing for Lynn as a R/S, all down to Chris Harris that one i'm afraid.
  10. I think what i said about Jenkins has not come over correctly.... He was asked to join Lynn during last season as there were rumours Ipswich were moving him out of the 7, after speaking to Management on the rumours, and being told it was rubbish, he went back to Lynn and said Thanks, but No thanks as he wanted to stay at Ipswich. He was NEVER asked about joining Lynn as a R/S for the 2025 season....NEVER. Birmingham made an enquiry for 2025 to be their R/S, but at the time, it was unclear whether Jordan was going to be in the R/S list, so Birmingham made their move on Jason Edwards. Then Lynn picked Ashton, and that was always their 1st choice due to the fact Chris Harris had already agreed to ride for Lynn next season....So no Brainer. Then Oxford went for Killeen, leaving Ipswich with possibly Flint,Hagon,Mulford,Joe Thompson etc, but it was then agreed by Morris and his crew that Jordan would return to the R/S berth for 2025, and obviously he became Ipswich's R/S for 2025. At no stage has Jordan turned down a ride at any club, due to the fact he genuinely didn't know whether he was a R/S or not. They are simply the Facts of it all, and trust me im in a position where i know that is correct. If you ask me for my opinion on the R/S system how it works, then i agree with you all, i imagine phone calls and conversations go on behind the scenes, and sometimes it makes a mockery of the system, but i will defend Jordan, he didn't turn down a ride for any club, where i put not interested in joining Lynn, that was for last season not 2025.
  11. It's a decent 1-7 for me. and as TTT said you finished last season very strong with near enough the same riders. Jenkins i can confirm was never in the running for King's Lynn, there was an enquiry at the latter stages of this season, but he wasn't interested, the club who did want him was Birmingham, but he's obviously back at Ipswich, and he didn't even know he was in the R/S category until a few weeks ago. Janowski sadly is just a Pipe dream that some have latched onto, unless Oxford have completely ripped up their 1-7 in last few days. As ive said on here before, although a Witches fan, and i go everywhere with them (not Belle Vue,as that's pointless)i do travel to watch Lynn, and towards the end of last season, they were good to watch at home, and with that 1-7 that is still just rumour, if it's true, that is a much more reliable committed 1-7 that their fans deserve to watch on a weekly basis and will be very powerful at Home and for me could easily get top 4.
  12. The Bewley rumours that hes not returning to Belle Vue are really gaining pace now, surely not???
  13. Not going to disagree with that, but think another ex Witch might be at Number 4
  14. I think you are bang on, the Janowski rumours were never true as he was never going to Lynn. It seems Kvech and Lawson are the last 2 for you to tie up, but that seems to be your 7, let's hope you Lynn fans get more committed riders this season, and you can look forward to a very competitive season. I for one, will definetly be attending when the Witches don't clash on the same night.
  15. Can't see you being far out, only thing i would say to scupper your sides is Masters is at Oxford and Kvech has 3 UK Options that he is considering. And i don't know why, but i see Ryan Douglas at Lynn and not Birmingham.
  16. No different really to the rumours Kvech has been talking to Leicester and Birmingham in last 48 hours....Just Rumours...We will all see in next couple of weeks. I'd be stunned if Leicester let Lawson go when it seems Masters is at Oxford and Douglas is also linked elsewhere.
  17. Decent side....if it was correct, But Janowski won't be at 1, Lawson won't be at Lynn either, unless Rob Lyon has convinced him to leave Leicester, which i wouldn't say was impossible Ben Cook seems to be a big rumour for Lynn, and i think you could be correct on Chris Harris, and the confidence you boys have wrapped up Kvech is interesting, but won't be long now when Jan announces where he will be in 2025
  18. Great Shout, all rumours were he was at Lynn, but for me that's a great start with our team building at Ipswich, by all accounts Boughan is gutted he was chosen by Lynn , but i would assume Chris Harris will be at Lynn now looking after Ashton. Surprised by Flint at Sheffield, obviously he was overlooked by all other 6 teams, which sadly for me somes up where Leon is with his Speedway at the moment. Big season for Leon now and i would expect the rumours of Gilkes at 6 and Rowe at 2 for Sheffield will be confirmed next week.
  19. And i simply can't disagree with your comment, stood on the Back Straight At Leicester that night, watching him either fall off whilst holding a Match Winning 5-1 (Lack of Team Riding Skills AGAIN) or just looking miles off it in his other 3 Heats. I do believe he will return due to the Ritchie Love-In, but i'm sure most loyal Fans will be honest and say a Change is needed, and Jason Doyle should return as Skipper.........BUT
  20. I 100% agree with you on the Ellis/King comment. It baffles me sometimes, and trust me I go Home and Away, that apart from being best mates, it baffles me in what Ritchie and Chris see is the bonus of keeping King. For me he's done, he's been a very loyal servant, although if Ritchie wasn't influential on Team Selection in previous seasons, I'm sure another manager would have moved him on a while ago. But if that's the 7 with King in, then we have to accept it and go again in March, but I'm a very loyal fan, and for me whatever the team limit is, 39 or 40, King would of been the 1st rider i would have looked to replace.
  21. It seems your all very close, or maybe that's me with my wishful thinking cap on.. Doyle,Ellis,Brennan,Rew,Emil,D.Thompson and Jenkins looks a Supporters dream at Foxhall. But as it's well documented on here it will have Danny King in there somewhere, which doesn't give it such a strong look. Just on Kvech...The 2 year deal is nonsense, as i said on King's Lynn's page earlier in the silly season, and he is definetly nowhere near a done deal at Lynn as of today, just simply isnt. He is considering his options in the UK and he could seriously end up elsewhere. Has Chris Harris signed for Lynn, wouldn't rule that out, and where will these Holder brothers end up, if rumours on Tai are true, i fear at least 1 will be binned by Sheffield, and could that end up being both.
  22. Must admit, all your reasons for keeping Adam are spot on, his Home average alone, if fit, for me is a given. The fact he still comes in on a 5 and a half average just shouts out as a No Brainer. I'm sure Mr Brennan's phone is on fire, but as you know more than me, the Team Limits haven't been finalised as of yet and although Tom is getting the calls, i expect Ipswich could just start as favourites for his signature. We all assume Doyley is the 1st name signed, and i'm sure we all hope that is the case, waiting on Emil is huge, but let's hope that ends as a positive. I know you will be spot on about Mark Lemon trying to persuade Keynan Rew to join Belle Vue, but i read he loves it at Ipswich, so let's hope he is retained as well. I'm not going to even try and workout the R/S situation or Reserve as i haven't a clue how it works, apart from Birmingham, Kings Lynn and Oxford get 1st dibs on the R/S before we do, so i see that as Flint at Birmingham (if they come to tapes), i fear Jordan will be a target for Kings Lynn as Anders Rowe wont be a R/S next season, and won't be at Lynn either, Oxford surely stick with Boughen, again though is Luke Killeen a R/S?? Then it's us, so don,t know where we go as Dan Thompson will be a Number 6 due to his average....Again that's me guessing. Oh how we all love the silly season........
  23. Very Well Said, Such a sad way how this season is ending. Not a good look for our Sport, far to late in the year for any Finals like this. I sort of see why they did it, but with only 7 Teams it is a bit of a farce.
  24. That's fair enough, but why are they building Teams not knowing if they fit. Someone must know something...
