7 more riders available if its true Somerset are pulling out of the league this year.
-
Polish speedway is run by people who want their league to be the best in the world, Britain speedway is run by people who want their team to be the best in the league!
-
Yes brexit took them by surprise, quite unexpected!
-
Everything won't stay the same as 2020 though will it,teams will have different line ups from the ones declared for 2020 amongst other things, also if Everything is staying the same why is it taking so long for team declarations, who's in what league, is the nl running etc lots of unknowns atm compared to previous years so a pretty stupid statement on your behalf really!
-
Maybe they are trying to think of a reason to stop Plymouth entering the championship!
-
Yes who knows!!!!
-
TWONK lol both riders are great guys but will be surprised if they achieve anything higher than a 4pt average .
-
Wright and roynon last time they rode competitively was for Plymouth, don't expect to much especially from Wright.
-
Maybe Newcastle are tapping up riders who allegedly are staying with their 2020 teams!
-
I thought Womble53's opinion was fact lol he has wrote in red so that proves it.
-
Its a forum so the idea is to discuss and have opinions we will wait and see on the Henry atkins situation and see who's two penneth is correct, you can get back in your box now!
-
Must be some changes as Henry has signed for Somerset .
-
Correct
-
Why would they have to tear it all down, curious why you would make such a statement
-
Plymouth were told they would have to change race nights from Fridays because to many other teams use Friday aswell, but I guess your right we all know how this will go!!
-
Cheers mate if you get down to us let me know I,ll buy you a beer
-
Glasshouses and all that,Plymouth have moved on from previous promotions took a step back into nl and rebuilt the clubs finances with much improved commercial side, and the track and facilities are excellent club should not be judged on previous owners.
-
There was other reasons but this was definitely one of them, as a consequence the plymouth promotion would move race night to a Tuesday to enable teams to do plymouth on Tuesday and Somerset on a Wednesday a nice little southern tour helping keep costs down but if they can’t see the benefits of that at the top table it's no wonder british speedway is on the crest of a slump.
-
If Somerset were allowed to revert back to Friday nights that would confirm how bias and unfair plymouth are being treated by the mc,as one of the reasons for plymouth being turned down last season was that there is to many Friday night tracks but i guess that doesn't apply when your promoter is on the mc,who says it's not all about self interest and different rules for different clubs. I will watch developments with interest but I think I know what the outcome will be,the word corrupt springs to mind!
-
And godfreys not!!
-
That's the same bloke who is putting as many obstacles, financially, commercially and logistically in place preventing plymouth from competing in the championship
-
And I thought I was the only rob Godfrey fan,he really isn't what is required on the management committee imo
-
Is next year the last of present lease? If so is it likely to be renewed?
-
100% agree !
-
Is the general consensus that plymouth should be denied the chance to join the championship if so what justification would you offer for that, seems crazy to say that there is not enough riders, which would mean we have to many teams! Surely we want more teams not tracks closing?
