  1. So do I! However I think you are being a bit harsh on your own team you will definitely be difficult opponents for Plymouth when you come to Devon Clegg, barker, wethers all ride our track very well and both roynon and Wright are ex Plymouth riders.
  2. I think you will be proved wrong Plymouth will be far from the whipping boys imo,in Bowtell and atkins we have have a very strong reserve pairing only bettered by 2 or 3 teams imo,Atkins will surprise a few people this year i think he will make good progress Bowtell has been unlucky with injury but if he stays fit he will do fine,Cook, ruml and goret all have huge potential and will become assets so all in all the Plymouth supporters are very excited and hopeful of some exciting speedway this season, I predict we will finish 6th place at worst.
  3. The Plymouth promotion have already stated they will not be making any changes except in the case of injury or a rider not getting to grips with the Plymouth track, certainly no changes will be made just to up the points tally its just about becoming established and competitive in the championship which I think we will be, certainly entertaining can't wait to get going.
  4. Get back on the scunthorpe thread or national league thread you old lemon suckered.
  5. I think Somerset withdrawing definitely contributed to Plymouth being accepted so I'm glad they spat the dummy
  6. 4 it is,he can start on 5 if you want we got a bit to spare.
  7. Hope you enjoy your season as a fully fledged pirate Rich, I'm very much looking forward to visiting Poole this season to watch my team Plymouth against the pirates. Totally agree about not being bothered about winning trophies for us Plymouth fans we're just happy to be in the championship mind you there is one or two teams i would enjoy beating tbh.
  8. Not racing against you and if no restrictions were in place you would have your biggest attendance of the season, the rest of the the league can embrace that and enjoy it,you really need to stop sucking lemons your very bitter
  9. Bruce penhall what average would he come in on
  10. Alfie and Henry will be a solid reserve pairing for Plymouth especially at home, could well get extra rides.
  11. Newcastle and Plymouth have the odds seriously stacked against them i think both have done remarkably in assembling teams to be competitive i,m with you pp Plymouth my team then I will be rooting for the diamonds!
  12. Bjarne has 2 teams in UK 1 team in Denmark with limited amount of fixtures, his UK teams will give him alot more meetings so I would guess if current travel restrictions remain he will base himself over here.
  13. I've no idea tbh the promotion is keeping all guessing, obviously the remaining 5 riders will be lesser names but I just hope they have potential to improve and make the most of being in the same team as crump and pedersen who between them have so much knowledge and experience to pass on it will hold them in good shape for a bright future
  14. Plymouth announcing third rider 8am tomorrow, very familiar with the track apparently.
  15. Does anyone know what happens if a teams rising star is out injured?
  16. Yes we have a stand on the back straight "The Colin Hill Stand"which provides great viewing as does the new seated stand on the home straight.
  17. I would like say that I personally appreciate the warm welcome most of you have extended to the Plymouth gladiators and what they are trying to achieve speedway fans have shown that they can see the bigger picture and the survival/revival of the sport is the most important, thats it for me being nice i,ve got scunthorpe fans to wind up only joking even scunthorpe fans have been good
