Newcastle and Plymouth have the odds seriously stacked against them i think both have done remarkably in assembling teams to be competitive i,m with you pp Plymouth my team then I will be rooting for the diamonds!
-
Bjarne has 2 teams in UK 1 team in Denmark with limited amount of fixtures, his UK teams will give him alot more meetings so I would guess if current travel restrictions remain he will base himself over here.
-
I've no idea tbh the promotion is keeping all guessing, obviously the remaining 5 riders will be lesser names but I just hope they have potential to improve and make the most of being in the same team as crump and pedersen who between them have so much knowledge and experience to pass on it will hold them in good shape for a bright future

Plymouth announcing third rider 8am tomorrow, very familiar with the track apparently.
-
Does anyone know what happens if a teams rising star is out injured?
-
Yes we have a stand on the back straight "The Colin Hill Stand"which provides great viewing as does the new seated stand on the home straight.
-
I would like say that I personally appreciate the warm welcome most of you have extended to the Plymouth gladiators and what they are trying to achieve speedway fans have shown that they can see the bigger picture and the survival/revival of the sport is the most important, thats it for me being nice i,ve got scunthorpe fans to wind up only joking even scunthorpe fans have been good
-
We have more categories to come fallen star, shooting star and wandering star
-
Size isn't everything your Mrs told me
-
Surely it would be worth talking to jake and trying to get him to change his mind, seems alot more optimistic now with the progress of the vaccinations.
-
My comments were not directed at you and your opinion of Plymouth it was more at Stoke Potter who was less than complimentary about Plymouth, and having been a supporter of Plymouth when they folded i know how it feels so I didn't mean to sound as though I was gloating, an interesting fact ben barker who was loved at Stoke rates Plymouth as one of his favourite tracks. Also Plymouth haven't folded multiple times only once since they were resurrected by Mike bowden in 2006 I think it was.
-
Just stating a fact, someone slagging Plymouth off calling it a training track obviously never witnessed top riders race on it so not gloating at all,get back in your box and don't come out anytime soon.
-
You just been on the Plymouth thread yourself so get back in your box like a good boy
-
Your right Phil, he's only just moved from 250cc to 500cc,we will have a long tail and its my guess not alot of experience but what a fantastic opportunity for the rest of the team to learn from to great riders.
-
If he was that good I would have thought his average would be much higher mind you he could still be very entertaining to watch, any news on scunthorpes final rider yet?
-
Training track better than no track!
-
What's the track like at Stoke
-
The thing is with only 6 teams the pl is a joke decent UK based riders need to be busy imo
-
I guess he will actually ride more matches for Plymouth than Ipswich due to the size of respective leagues
-
It obviously will be but it will give every team in the championship its highest crowd of the season and a massive boost for speedway at this level
-
Don't wind up my scunthorpe friends they are a very envious sensitive bunch thj !
-
Could have been worse i suppose,Could have to watch josh auty every season
-
I bet he has!
-
The main thing is bjarne signing has been well received by the Plymouth public and is already creating a buzz around the city with alot of supporters rekindling an interest in speedway a returning to support it
