  1. Quite right tickets will be in high demand also the club has had a good response for season tickets which of course will guarantee you entry.
  2. I never said a walkoverI just said a chance
  3. I don't think we will be challenging for honours, but it is definitely an unusual situation to have two no1s from the league above in your team ,may have a chance in the championship pairs if they take place though
  4. Plymouth hopefully won't be last Mike, but we're already on a winner in my eyes, we have been accepted into the championship and we will be the box office team in the league with every club benefiting from signings the club have made. Also season ticket sales are going well apparently
  5. Who's on the official panel ? Is it the same persons that run british speedway,I hope not we all know who will benefit from any money being paid out,so if you are a well run club with good finances and practices in place you probably won't get anything,if you're badly run and struggling you will get something. I have read the article myself now and I stand corrected it seems individual clubs have to present their own case to the DCMS and Sport England, hopefully something good comes out of this£££
  6. Season tickets are on sale for the gladiators on Plymouth-speedway.com
  7. Could Scunny be waiting to see 8f the 2 Scottish teams can run due to covid restrictions cos Ricky Wells would be a great signing for you?
  8. From what I've heard bwd is not coming over this year unless he's had a change of mind
  9. So do I! However I think you are being a bit harsh on your own team you will definitely be difficult opponents for Plymouth when you come to Devon Clegg, barker, wethers all ride our track very well and both roynon and Wright are ex Plymouth riders.
  10. I think you will be proved wrong Plymouth will be far from the whipping boys imo,in Bowtell and atkins we have have a very strong reserve pairing only bettered by 2 or 3 teams imo,Atkins will surprise a few people this year i think he will make good progress Bowtell has been unlucky with injury but if he stays fit he will do fine,Cook, ruml and goret all have huge potential and will become assets so all in all the Plymouth supporters are very excited and hopeful of some exciting speedway this season, I predict we will finish 6th place at worst.
  11. The Plymouth promotion have already stated they will not be making any changes except in the case of injury or a rider not getting to grips with the Plymouth track, certainly no changes will be made just to up the points tally its just about becoming established and competitive in the championship which I think we will be, certainly entertaining can't wait to get going.
  12. Get back on the scunthorpe thread or national league thread you old lemon suckered.
  13. I think Somerset withdrawing definitely contributed to Plymouth being accepted so I'm glad they spat the dummy
  14. 4 it is,he can start on 5 if you want we got a bit to spare.
  15. Hope you enjoy your season as a fully fledged pirate Rich, I'm very much looking forward to visiting Poole this season to watch my team Plymouth against the pirates. Totally agree about not being bothered about winning trophies for us Plymouth fans we're just happy to be in the championship mind you there is one or two teams i would enjoy beating tbh.
  16. Not racing against you and if no restrictions were in place you would have your biggest attendance of the season, the rest of the the league can embrace that and enjoy it,you really need to stop sucking lemons your very bitter
  17. Bruce penhall what average would he come in on
  18. Alfie and Henry will be a solid reserve pairing for Plymouth especially at home, could well get extra rides.
