  1. We have/are enjoying a great season in Plymouth the matches have nearly all been last heat deciders, of which in the main have been in our favour ,we are building a good fan base with alot of youngsters attending, it was a gamble but to be honest our hand was forced by the powers to be with the late acceptance into the league and limited time given to build a team to an acceptable strength i,m sure they never expected us to succeed in doing so but here we are and as our promoter said in a recent interview he will do what ever it takes to put Plymouth Speedway on the map, obstacles are still being put in our path to stop us progressing as a club and team but it just makes the promotion and club, fans etc even more determined. Roll on next season.
  2. If Eastbourne pull out Leicester lose 7pts,is anyone from Leicester on the mc
  3. Would have been a pleasure, unfortunately I won't be at the return match, fingers crossed we can do it next season.
  4. All the ingredients for another great meeting i think the reserves from both teams will play a massive part in the final result
  5. What is the forecast for Saturday 28th August planning on coming up to watch the gladiators against the lions, probably stay over and have a night out aswell
  6. That's not necessarily correct, if Eastbourne drop out and the points teams have gained from Eastbourne fixtures are taken away from them plus the fact that their is one less team and they would have to win all their remaining fixtures highly unlikely but possible
  7. Why should Newcastle have first shout, absolutely no reason!)
  8. A mixture of sour grapes and bull****,scunny got stuck in and had a real go fair play to them i could debate all the biased points in the report but end of the day Plymouth won and scunny got nowt,
  9. Tough meeting, scunny had a real go,fair play to them but enjoyed the victory.
  10. Let it go,I think you should be more worried about what's really going on at your own club. Smoke and mirrors!
  11. 7+1as a guest, 6+1 when riding for Plymouth both reasonable returns imo, interesting you think it's funny when he obviously had a nightmare at Newcastle which will be the case with new riders who have never seen certain tracks before, the Plymouth fans, promotion and management are very pleased to have zane riding for us and becoming an asset aswell,I think smetana is on our radar aswell
  12. It sounds to me the problem is more to do with the material on the track,it needs a decent amount of clay in it to help retain the moisture and reduce the need for water,at Plymouth they don't water the track until 4.30 on race day and we don't get any issues with dust.
  13. What club in their right mind would want to ride at Birmingham, when they have stated it potentially could be the last meeting ,not ideal.
  14. It does seem the whole league is having to pander to brums needs/wishes every team has had to operate through exceptional circumstances this last 12months,what happens if brum goes ** up and the clubs who have raced at Perry bar and picked up points, paid their riders expenses and points money only to have the result cancelled do they get any recompense?
  15. No thats definitely not the case, Plymouth got accepted into the championship when their was very few riders left to sign and given 10 days to put together a team upto a certain strength average wise. Hence the reason we have the team we got but we are in the league now and its all about next season when we will have the same opportunities to put a team together. Mat and Danny Ford have been a good help to Plymouth and they do have a good working relationship I believe.
  16. One word will suffice I could stretch to 2 in your case and add totally to the mix
