The devils team and manager had their eye on the 4s from the minute we got saved as a quartet we knew we had four riders that could win this and the way the lads gelled and worked together passing on information and set ups advice to each other was real teamwork also the polish mechanics for the 3 aussies were superb as was keith newman for kyle. In the grand scheme of things i know its only one event and we will struggle to make the playoffs but for the club and manager this was an immense achievement, plymouths first silverware in the pl. Thanks to all the fans whos team wasnt in the final they all seemed to be devils for a day good to catch up with paulco whist having a beer might of had a few more if they didnt turn the lights out!! Fantastic wknd👍
I wondered what the smell was. Yes scunny seemed to have upped their game mainly due to only having 3 riders left from the team that started the season and rr for davies you are stronger for sure 👍
The bspa archives do go way back just had a quick look. The rebels finished 16th out of 17 teams in 2002,17th of 18 teams in 2003,13th out of 15 teams in 2004. Good years not to include if your a somerset fan, mind you i think this season could be their best ever.
Surely riders are the best judges of tracks more so than spectators and quite a few over the years have had not so favourable comments about berwicks track aswell as other tracks
Slight correction to your comment the fire engine had been repaired but developed a new fault the night before the meeting which was the brakes were jamming on and it could not be risked on the track during the meeting and being unable to move it. I was told this by one of the promoters.
