  1. In my defence I wasn't expecting Danny King to be unbeaten after 3 rides!
  2. Didn't think I'd be saying this, but if Oxford can win, that's them right in the play-offs hunt. Even more amazing they're winning without Tungate scoring (who I thought would be top scorer).
  3. I pretty much agree with every point you make, it doesn't seem fair that a rider can be dropped instantly, but can't leave without a ban. But in this case is it not irrelevant? Musielak isn't fit enough to race in GB, he told us himself. So why would he be looking for another team?
  4. Rightly or wrongly, Musielak is still in Lynn's 1-7 to can't sign for another team.
  5. In a "Speedway court" Lynn / BSPL would simply say, were not preventing him from earning a living, he can ride for King's Lynn - don't think that would hold up in a "real" courtroom though.
  6. I do one prediction with that stats (50-40), then another less scientific & more based on opinions (53-37). First one was before I had a good look at the teams & averages!
  7. Aside from Sayfutdinov, Lynn fans could easily argue their team is as strong as the rest of the Witches. So if Lynn ride well, they can win.
  8. Still wouldn't bother me, then Harris, Flint, Smith & Pearson could get extra races. When it was Riss, I'd certainly have used a guest. Maybe Cami doesn't have the faith in the Glasgow team that I do lol!
  9. Think I would've moved Paco to number 3, as he's been doing well at home, he'd be my pick for r/r in heat 13, so would want to avoid him having to ride in 13,14,15 to finish the match.
  10. Just because he's been riding for 20 years, doesn't mean he'll be a heat leader, that's not how speedway (or any sport) works. He's a career Championship second string, no shame in that, the sport still needs riders like this. I'll agree he's been disappointing this season, maybe last season was a one-off great year, doesn't mean he needs to retire though.
  11. Personally I think it's a daft decision to put r/r at 2. Why would you want to use a GP winner in an extra heat against a "rising star"? Seems a waste of Holder's talents, surely you're better off giving Jack & Chris extra rides against Tungate & Janowski? That being said, expecting Sheffield to hit 55 points, but I'll argue it could've been 57 lol!
  12. Lambert's 2023 away ave was 5.09 (5.94). His 24 ave is 5.03 (6.06). At home in 23 7.24 (8.11) but in 24 it's dropped to 6.76 (7.59). So his average may have dropped slightly but I'd hardly call that a stinker of a season, nor a reason to retire. Poole is a notoriously difficult track fir away riders to score well on, so I wouldn't bother too much about tonights score.
  13. Howarth is probably the most disappointing Scorpion. I think they hoped he'd show his Leicester form & that his poor season at Plymouth was a one off, but it's not happened for him. They still have the potential for a good season, but struggle to see past Poole for any competition.
  14. Probably not, think Berwick will just be happy for a home victory. Does show Oxford should pick up plenty of bonus points, probably cements their place in the play-offs
  15. Was actually looking at the fixtures & was gonna comment that Berwick (37) scored more at Oxford than Workington (33), Scunthorpe (34), Edinburgh (36), Redcar (36) & Glasgow (36). Now I'm sure Berwick fans & riders will be disappointed with the score, but it wasn't the thrashing some suggested!
  16. Manipulated? If Poole are organised & want to get their fixtures done before October well done to them. I remember when many people said having the second leg at home was an advantage, how times change lol!
  17. Think I would move Becker to number 2, Lawson is doing very well, think he can handle the number 3 spot, Masters then at 4?
  18. So both Kerr & Kemp have beaten Killeen! No one can beat Heeps though, who must be wondering why he isn't riding for the Spires?
  19. I understand the logic of deciding no-one will beat Masters & Nicholls in heat 13, so trying to score more in 8,12&14, but I do feel for Etheridge. It's certainly a move done to avoid a drubbing / give themselves a chance of the bonus point. Does make them look very weak in the heats with Etheridge & Hodder though!
