  1. I agree it's a shame for Lynn, but is postponing the meeting really the most suitable action?
  2. Redcar were forced to race at Oxford in the play-offs with 3 guests & r/r last year!
  3. What would happen if Doyle (9.18) was missing for Ipswich & they wanted to use Jack Holder (8.89) as a guest, but he wasn't available, so had to settle for Brady Kurtz (8.72) instead, would they be allowed to postpone the meeting due to being understrength? Now they've allowed it, where do you draw the line?
  4. If they are going to allow teams to call off matches due to being under strength (which I don't agree with) surely there has to be a minimum amount of riders missing i.e more than two? If Lynn are doing this to save on lost income, I can understand that, but they shouldn't be allowed to do it to gain league points. Perhaps they should be deducted 2 league points, so a win in the re-staging is no better than a loss on the night (except for Leicester losing out on points)?
  5. Simon Lambert commented on FB that no one asked him to ride, he'd be a fair replacement for Wojdylo, especially after his great performances last year.
  6. Completely disagree, postponing this match doesn't hurt Poland in the slightest. Only messes up Lynn & Leicester fans who've planned to go. Besides what if Wojdylo was available but had gotten injured, are they allowed to cancel the meeting because they don't want to use a guest who may not score as much?
  7. Exactly, plus look at Birmingham. You could say they had Evan under strength side, but at least they don't call off meetings because of it.
  8. I can't believe the Oxford X (Twitter) page still doesn't have a meeting postponed announcement!
  9. It shouldn't be allowed, as a Poole win virtually knocks Plymouth out of the running. But sadly it can (& does) happen.
  10. I would've agreed with you until Oxford's last home match, when they scored much better. Depends which Boughen they get, got double figures guesting for Scunthorpe, but struggling for the Cheetahs.
  11. Technically Oxford can still qualify, they just need to get the bonus over the Pirates & hope Plymouth get a home win over Poole. But realistically a chance to improve on their home track before the league starts.
  12. I can understand the point of getting to heat 10, Lynn were never gonna win of it gets to heat 15, not would they have a chance if it was re-arranged. But I feel for the public paying full price for 2/3 of a meeting. Feel there should be some sort of refund in cases like these.
  13. I was a massive Fan of Jan O, probably the first rider I liked who didn't ride for my team (Rye House)
  14. Odd / poor team managing by Birmingham. Using a tac sub on heat 9 against the strong Lidsey / Cook pairing (losing a 5-1) instead of using it in heat 10 against Blodorn who was struggling (but beats Milik).
  15. Good point I was forgetting Masters was riding on his "home track"
  16. Certainly looks that way so far, Oxford favourites for fourth imo
  17. Part of me thinks Ipswich could've gone with r/r give their riders more track time / earnings, as it's "only King's Lynn" in opposition. But I guess that would've left Nicholls available to guest for Lynn, so better use him to avoid that!
  18. I think the problem is the RS criteria has lowered. When it first came in riders had to be below 6.5 in the Champ & 5.5 in the Prem (to fit in Josh Bates) but know if you get above 4.00 you no longer qualify. So while the Prem gets stronger, the RS are actually getting weaker. Next year Flint, Dan T & Rowe will likely be above 4.00. Are there 3 more riders ready to step up & replace them?
  19. Perhaps Buster will keep finding "poor" weather forecasts & cancel every home match till Musielak returns?
  20. Starke could only replace Liebmann, so that's a simple answer.
  21. There can be no doubt Riss has done better than King.
