  1. Every match I expect Janowski to get going & score 12/13/14, it hasn't happened yet, but the risk is there if you let him go, he could do that for another team
  2. Certainly can't drop Cook, I mean would they look at dropping Janowski, has a lower average than Kerr (2024 meetings) but must cost more?
  3. Kerr back riding for Berwick. Wonder what Oxford will do?
  4. No arguments the track looks wet, but the fact they didn't post pictures when cancelling with far better forecasts speaks volumes
  5. A few years ago Buster did exactly that, but either the riders refused to race or the ref said it wasn't safe. So I can understand him not trying to get meetings on in poor weather. However, I do feel he calls off far too many meetings, when the forecast aren't THAT bad
  6. I'm suggesting they could've put Perry in heat 14, once they were well clear & given both reserves 4 rides.
  7. I think that's great he's getting help, but would suggest getting his 4th ride & gating tuition would be more valuable?
  8. But if you have a rebuild & sign a 2.00 rider, they are even weaker at reserve. Need to make sure the new top 5 rider will score lots more than Starke.
  9. I thought Worrall protested innocence?
  10. Do you honestly think Poole could struggle to win the bonus? Besides is it not more important to help Perry for the rest of the season? Surely an extra ride against a weak reserve would be great for his confidence?
  11. Yeah I really don't understand why they didn't give Perry a 4th ride. Do people honestly think Poole are worried about losing by 30 points in the return leg?
  12. Give him a chance he's not even ridden a match yet lol!
  13. Having seen a clip of Leibmann at Redcar I agree she looked fast / on the pace. But that doesn't win meetings, points do. There's no rush I guess, but Workington should certainly be prepared to make changes. Maybe 2 changes, bring in Jody Scott for Sam McGurk too?
  14. You could argue Sheffield weakened Leicester & Oxford by removing a strong RS from the list. Now if they dropped him, these clubs can't sign Edwards, so Sheffield still gain. How is that in the best interest of British Speedway / or an improving young Brit like Edwards?
  15. Why is Atkins missing? Agree it certainly strengthens Oxford.
  16. With the form Milik is in, Sedgmen should improve the team, especially pushing Lampart, then possibly Pawlicki to reserve. However it's not a move that will turn Birmingham into contenders. Especially when they have points available for a superstar number one (if someone wants to come).
  17. Looking at the scores, there wasn't a rider who was clearly better than Janowski & Cook. Maybe Tungate? But certainly not a howler in this case.
  18. There's no evidence that Howarth's testimonial is on the promoters mind, they could simply be giving a struggling rider time to turn things round. Not every club drops a rider who isn't performing ASAP
  19. Foreigners (Zischke) have a minimum 4.00 average.
  20. If true, I think that's a terrible ruling. Rather than commend a young Brit for trying to improve himself out of the RS berth, they put a block on him dropping down (if it's needed). What if Sheffield dropped him & Howarth for a double change, means he'd likely have to sit out the rest of the campaign as there'd be clubs wanting to use him as RS, but not at number 6.
  21. I'm the context of the title chase, this meeting means nothing, both teams 99.99% in the play-offs. Which is why I dislike them, yes they make the end of the season exciting, but make 85% off the season less important. That being said I know Sheffield don't want to lose at home, I'm delighted they did though.
  22. Etheridge & Vissing in place of Howarth & Gilkes (move Edwards to RS)?
  23. Don't think he'd do any better, maybe find a 3.00 rider for number 6 & move Edwards to RS (if allowed)
