Nicholls guesting on his home track should score well -
King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

I'm not sure Lynn would get another 28 day facility for a rider "withholding his services" I most cases clubs get a 28 day facility then have to sign a replacement (or use a 75% guest). -
King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

I don't think Lynn can release him until they've signed a replacement. Don't see how Musielak could sign for another club until Lynn find a new rider. -
You could be right, but I hope most fans would realise Speedway is a dangerous sport & accidents do happen. Not signing Rew, won't help Tate heal any quicker.
-
Maybe unlikely for a Saturday track, but there's a few foreign Premiership riders whose converted averages would fit, Pawlicki, Milik & Rew?
-
Now his injuries are known, I feel I can wonder what Comets will do. r/r not ideal with a reserve having to take an extra ride, luckily for Workington Tate's average had gone up to help with guests / a replacement. Really sad news for Zischke, who was having one of the best debut British seasons for a long while. Get well soon Tate.
-
1) that's not a rule 2) I'm sure Workington are more concerned with Tate's health before worrying about a replacement. Yes they may eventually have to plan ahead, but not now. While you have clearly stated you hope he's not badly hurt, can't help but think the post isn't in good taste. Until his injuries are known, I wouldn't speculate on if they'll need to replace him.

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

Similar thing happened to Pickering. Sheffield dropped him & he went to Lynn, but when Lynn (temporarily) dropped him due to injury he was happy to go back to Sheffield. -
As disappointing as Becker has been, he's still averaging more than Mountain. It would also push Cook up into the top 5. Would weaken Leicester imo.
-
Every time Ipswich look understrength they seem to pull out a great performance, so should make tonight interesting.
-
Certainly see a resemblance to Rod Colqhoun
-
Sensible riding order by Lynn (Worrall at 2) Ermolenko may want to take not if that. For Leicester I would've moved Lawson away from 2, leaves then with a weak 3/4 pairing, Lawson would help avoid that.

Glasgow v Plymouth - 28/06

I certainly don't understand why the promoters teat the koc / bsn the way they do. They should be going all out to convince fans to part with their money the same as they do for league meetings! -

I'm glad they added this rule, if riders don't want to ride here, clubs should sign someone who does want to. -
Success in one league, doesn't guarantee success in the other, but it makes me think, don't be hasty with changes.

Why are the KOC & BSN series a "Mickey mouse" competition. Surely riders want to win every race, teams want to win every match, fans want to win every trophy? Of course the league is the main aim, but every club should want to win the league AND the cup, ideally a treble. -
I think the big difference between his home & away matches makes his away average look worse than it is. If he was 5.71 home & 4.71 away, you could say that's a good first season in GB (better than many other newcomers). The gulf between the averages, shouldn't put you off him. If he can ride Belle Vue like he can ride Workington, then Ace move by Belle Vue.
-
After another good performance for Workington, I wouldn't rush into dropping Cook yet. If he comes good, he's better than Kerr & Mountain.

Scunny v Edinburgh D/H 28.06.2024
szkocjasid replied to ScunnyDan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I was a bit disappointed with the lack of team riding by Lambert, thought he had the opportunity to let Harrison round him for a 5-1. Compare that to Josh Pickering who kept looking for his partner & let Sedgmen round for a 5-1. -
I agree Scunny should have been made to race imo.
