  1. Averaged 7.45/8.27 at home & 3.47/3.87 away in 2021. So would need to improve his away form to be pushing for top spot in 2022.
  2. Edinburgh won the league in 2015 with 2 x 3.5 riders at reserve!
  3. All 3 signings are very wise in my view, regardless of it appearing to be a Kent(ish) team!
  4. Mind you, the RS system was no better, 3* riders like Flint / Kemp / Bowtell allowed to guest for 1* riders who score nothing like Crang / Freeman!
  5. There's still plenty 4/5 averaged Brits without team places out there, so Newcastle can still be competitive hopefully, even if they can't get close to the 42.00 limit!
  6. Most important thing is Nielsen avoiding injury, second most important thing is Nielsen getting a new ave before any injury! I certainly hope the lad can have an injury free season!
  7. Just had the one season at Edinburgh! But most riders would prefer not to travel up North if they can avoid it!
  8. Wolves & KL haven't completed their sides, so can't award Ipswich the wooden spoon just yet lol!
  9. I feel for the Ipswich fans, of the 3 teams completed, theirs looks by far the weakest!
  10. But if Chris Holder drops .5 off his ave & Riss adds .5 to his ave, Holder is still the stronger rider!
  11. My point exactly, doesn't matter of they're top by a mile or in the bottom half, can still make the play-offs! So I think they'll make it!
  12. I'm confident that Sheffield can make the play-offs with that side!
  13. League champions elect was my first thought!
  14. As Congreve hasn't ridden at Champ level yet, that's a bold prediction to make!
  15. I don't think Masters would get any racing in the Polish Extraliga. Teams can only use 2 foreigners (over 25) so unless you're one of the top 16 non Polish riders in the world? Not gonna get much racing!
  16. If Poole want to build a team with 3 x number ones! I for one would certainly love to see a team of 7 Brits! Poole Steve Worrall 9.05 Danny King 8.99 Richard Lawson 8.51 Danyon Hume 4.88 Stefan Nielsen 4.67 Drew Kemp 3.72 Jason Edwards 2.11 Total 41.93 Poole Steve Worrall 9.05 Danny King 8.99 Richard Lawson 8.51 Ben Cook 5.31 Zach Cook 4.40 Drew Kemp 3.72 Ablitt / Mulford 2.00 Total 41.98
  17. Batchelor on a 5.57 ave vs Broc Nicol on a 5.23 ave, suggests there's not much between the riders ability. But compare their Champ averages 8.98 vs 5.50 & you can see how some (me included) would rate Batchelor as a clever signing!
  18. This would be my team. Ipswich Jason Doyle 8.96 Danny King 7.76 Craig Cook 6.98 Troy Batchelor 5.67 Cameron Heeps 4.96 Paul Starke 4.47 Anders Rowe RS Total 38.80
  19. Must be an amazing gater then to have a 9+ average
  20. If he shows his Poole form, his signing will be a masterstroke!
  21. I think this is where the RS system works, instead of having a promising young Brit up his average to 4.5 then get left on the scrapheap for a new 3.00 man, this encourages them to perform well & become a trump card!
  22. The issue I see is they basically announced "we've picked a team but are not telling you the rest of them", I know they only promised one rider - but it sounds like they've signed 7/8 riders up already. I think it would've sounded better to announce something like "we're working towards completing the team" Also - I'm not "stamping my feet and demanding to know who signed riders are" I merely think they shouldn't say, we know the team but aren't telling you - that's all!
