  1. Sorry but have to disagree, 2 x 3.1 riders & a 3rd heat leader below 6 has to be the weakest top 5 Kent have ever put out!
  2. They obviously must rate Sedgmen above Morris!
  3. If that's Sedgmen's "true" average it'll be rounded up to 4.00!
  4. If Wright is a 3.00 man then it's not a bad signing! Any higher than that, odd choice of rider to sign!
  5. My top 6: Sam Masters Craig Cook Charles Wright Edward Kennett Chris Harris Scott Nicholls
  6. Sorry but I think that's a terrible idea, once a rider gets a 7.00 ave he either moves up or his career is over, but keep your ave at 6.00 & you can ride in NL forever! Plus by removing top riders from NL each season the following seasons top riders may be nowhere near Championship level, cause even in league of weak riders someone has to be top of the averages!
  7. I think Leicester clearly have a stronger 1-5 than Eastbourne, but the Eagles look stronger at reserve, plus more home track advantage than Leicester! Not so sure about Glasgow, I guess it depends on their middle order getting back to their previous form to challenge near the top! Can't see who Redcar will sign as a third HL so think they'll be nearer half way than play-off candidates! Agree that Poole have the best top 3 in the league & as you say are likely to be quick to replace an underperforming rider, but there's not many out there to step in! Think you have greatly overestimated Plymouth as I expect them to be in a battle to avoid the wooden spoon! Edinburgh look good at the top but I reckon they'll have too long a tail to make the top 4! Agree with pretty much everything you said about Kent! Can't really comment on Birmingham till more signings are known! Berwick should be good enough at home but likely to be poor away! I rate Scunthorpe more than you, mid table side or pushing towards play-offs depending on final rider! I agreeing Newcastle look weak but think they could do better at home than Plymouth & avoid the wooden spoon!
  8. I can agree with arguments against Bates, but Bacon deserves a shot at the "rising star" scheme! He's improved every year & never had a Prem team spot - he clearly is still improving!
  9. There's plenty of riders without team spots so far, of course some of these could still get signed up! Ben Woodhull, Paul Bowen, Josh Bailey, Nathan Stoneman, Jack P Blackburn, Tom Perry, Connor Coles, Luke Harris, Luke Chessell, Danno Verge, Adam Extance, Alex Spooner, Matt Marson, Scott Campos, Conor Dwyer, Tom Spencer, Callum Walker, Chad Wirtzfeld, David Wallinger, Adam Portwood, Paul Burnett, Chris Widman, Connor King, Shelby Rutherford & Adam Sheppard.
  10. It's very hard to know how well Brennan will do for the Aces. He made a great start to 2019 with Eastbourne but that was from the easier number 7 spot. Riding for two very different sized tracks should certainly help him progress!
  11. While Palin may be a good prospect for the future, I'm positive Bates will be the stronger rider in 2021!
  12. Well the worst idea would be joining the Polish or Russian leagues, so I stand by my statement!
  13. Looking at the riders left available, I'd say Nicholls & Ostergaard would be best options for Peterborough!
  14. Personally I think the team looks pretty weak on paper, they just have to hope the other 7 teams are equally as weak!
  15. Me too, but until a rider officially signs I'll use them in my potential teams!
  16. How about? 1 Jack P Blackburn 8.66 2 Connor Coles 7.43 3 Henry Atkins 5.86 4 Ben Woodhull 3.67 5 Paul Bowen 3.36 6 Harry McGurk 3.00 7 An Other 3.00 Total 34.98
  17. It'd be pretty harsh to drop a couple of riders this close to the season starting!
  18. I think you're underestimating Pijper, I reckon he'll do well for the Scorpions!
  19. If they don't make changes will be a fight to avoid the wooden spoon imo!
  20. If Ellis was only going to race in one league in Britain it was always gonna be the Premiership over the Championship!
  21. Personally I think they look very weak, best chance is if all 8 teams look weak!
  22. How about? 1 Connor Bailey 7.64 2 Connor Coles 7.43 3 Jack Smith 6.50 4 Ben Woodhull 3.67 5 Paul Bowen 3.36 6 Harry McGurk 3.00 7 An Other 3.00 (3.40 remaining) Total 34.60
  23. The team that tops the table could win the Craven Shield!
