  1. If Oxford wanted to use their top rider (Nicholls) to replace a reserve (Stoneman) the first available time would've been in heat 12, by which time Oxford would've been 24 points behind & people would question "why wait till you've lost to use a tac sub"?
  2. Always feels good to correctly predict a score! Was hard to see Newcastle doing any better!
  3. Should be a rule, where you have to put two riders in (assuming they're not injured). That being said, why would you need a rule "forcing" a club into trying their best to score points / entertain the public - they should already be doing that!
  4. So is my comment of "Berwick don't go well at Armadale normally" really such an out of date and ill informed statement lol
  5. Nielsen has often performed well in the Prem for Poole & Sheffield, but always gets injured before attaining a proper average. If he keeps that form, bargain for Sheffield on 3.00!
  6. On a neutral track I'd agree, but Scunthorpe have a team of home track experts don't they?
  7. Edinburgh's top 2 will do enough to win it for Edinburgh, Berwick getting a point.
  8. Narrow win for Scunthorpe, with Leicester getting a point.
  9. “We look very strong whichever way we set up. As I have always done, I will change the order around and experiment and that won’t change this year unless we find something that we settle on that we think is definitely the best set-up. That is something I think has worked well in the past and is something I believe we can do this year.” Witches boss Ritchie Hawkins won’t be afraid to tinker with his riding order as the Witches look to make a big improvement upon the 2021 season when they failed to make the play-offs. Sorry but I can't see what Hawkins sees, saying Witches "look strong" whichever way they set up! I understand a team manager has to be positive, but think he's seriously over estimated his side's ability!
  10. Based on Ellis & Nielsen's scoring for Sheffield, Birmingham could possibly get a point from this. But I think they'll fall just short!
  11. Newcastle should have a chance of a narrow home win, but can't see any possibility of an aggregate win for them.
  12. Tough one to call, looks the weakest Monarchs team I can remember for a while, but Berwick don't go well at Armadale normally!
  13. Can't agree with these comments by Cammi Brown, Glasgow must be 95% certain of making the play-offs! But the Tigers boss admits it will not be easy to keep the club’s record of reaching the play-offs going. “It’s going to be very difficult,” he said.
  14. But also remember to add riders like Jack Smith, Luke Crang, Greg Blair etc, who would also qualify as rising stars!
  15. This match has the potential to be the biggest win of the season so far, not easy when you look at the Leicester scores! Very surprised this match was chosen by the BSN for their stream!
  16. While it's sad to see a rider injured, Berwick would be strengthened using r/r! So should certainly make sure Pijper is 100% before making a return to the track.
