He'd be on an assessed 4.00 ave, but didn't average over that for Scunthorpe last he was here, so wouldn't advise signing him for a Prem team spot!

I don't know Birmingham's plans for completing their team but think Josh Bates on 6.19 would be an astute signing! -

Let's be honest that's not really "massive news" signing a junior who's never been more than a NL reserve! -
Tbh I think that team looks incredibly weak! But not seen the other 5 teams!
-
Well their team looks far stronger than Kent & Newcastle then!
-
I disagree the SON looks much weaker this year & there's certainly a possibility that Lawson or the Worralls could've picked up points, especially against U-21 riders!

Old points system GP results
szkocjasid replied to rikard5150's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
If Doyle had beaten Laguta in the second semi final, Lindgren would've been world number two! It's stupid that a race between two riders not involved in the podium (Doyle & Laguta) can decide who finishes higher between two riders on the podium (Woffinden & Lindgren)! -
I'm sure you can only drip riders through Injury, so they couldn't choose to swap Palin & Kemp over!
-
I agree with that point, forcing SON teams to include an U-21 rider could lead to a far weaker 20/21 year old replacing & very promising & talented 21/22 year old! Same situation for the substitutes picked!
-
Not sure why you should ban current GP riders from racing in the GP challenge, if a rider can't beat them in qualifying can they claim to deserve a GP place ahead of a current GP rider! Also if the top 15 in the World were in the GP's but 7th - 15th were guaranteed not to be in the next season's series it would be a much weaker GP the following year!
-
Regarding the new scoring system 1) Doyle, Dudek & Michelsen all scored 5 points but Doyle is awarded 6 points & Michelsen 4, what is the purpose of that? 2) Sayfutdinov scored 11 points & Zagar 6, but Emil only gets awarded one more point! Does Emil only deserve ONE more point than Matej? Also it means if Emil had scored FOUR less points in the heats he still would have gone home with his 9 GP points!

The elite league fat track race format was good for allowing similar standard racers meeting each other more often!

I'm told he has sold his bikes & retired!

Random comment, but how strong does the 2015 side seem now? Especially for a second tier side! Josh Grajczonek, Brady Kurtz, Richie Worrall, Charles Wright, Paul Starke, Rasmus Jensen & Oliver Greenwood!

Looking at the aves Nicholls did get the 2.5% reduction last season! I was sure he didn't qualify for it but he defo deserves it along with any other British rider! -

I'm was sure the rule is rider has to have ridden in NL (or similar) Nicholls never has! But maybe I'm wrong? -

Non Brits have to be on a minimum 4.00 ave! -
Reading Jason Pipe's comments on Newcastle's team he thinks Claus Vissing can put a point and a half on his 8.43 ave and James Wright can put at least 3 points on his 4.00 ave! Diamonds could challenge for play-offs of those predictions come true!
-
Can't expect Jason to he successful this year as he has the weakest team in the league!
