  1. At home I'd go for r/r to cover MPT, away from home try & find a track expert. Doesn't matter greatly this week, even if they lose to Oxford still 96% sure they'd make the play-offs
  2. Lynn didn't even bother to say "aggravated" injury, just said he was injured!
  3. Well Lynn couldn't even do better than my "low" predictions!
  4. Ask Cook to sign for one month, then go back to Andersen then? Cook had said the deal had to be right for him, so there's a chance. Basically just find any rider on 5.01 or above!
  5. Doesn't matter if Lynn signed the best team manager in the history of the sport, it's not gonna help them win meetings now is it?
  6. I don't understand the logic of Polish clubs stopping riders from racing here on certain tracks (if indeed that's happening) what happens if a rider get injured in Poland (like Luke Becker) are Zielona Gora going to ban him from riding in Poland because he keeps getting injured in Poland?
  7. Leicester have picked their strongest 2 (2023 stats), so well done to them for that!
  8. I would sign Craig Cook or Troy Batchelor for Andersen, just to get Terasanko at reserve for 6 matches (well 4 left now) could always bring back Hans if they performed even worse, but at least they'd have a potent reserve for a short while.
  9. Nothing against the Edinburgh team manager, but I doubt think much attention is paid by any team manager in any league regarding the riding order. 99% of them pick the same riding order every match, regardless of opposition / track etc. I'm sure Adam does prefer riding at 3 or 4 (easier rides - more money) but team should be built to suit them not Adam - obviously it's possible the team manager agrees with Adam.
  10. Maybe because most expect them to score 25/30 points lol!
  11. I'm positive option 2 still allows them a 6.00 guest, "no facility available" means guests up to 75% of average, not juniors.
  12. More people believed King's Lynn pit gate was broken than believe Laguta is actually injured
  13. Totally agree with everything you've said!
  14. They'd never have to use a "junior" if they said he's witholding his services, Laguta would get a 28 day ban & Lynn would be allowed guests up to his 8.00 average, if Lynn said we've told him to stay home so we can save money they it's "no facility" so a guest up to 6.00 (75% of his average). I think it's a massive slap in the face of all fans to just pretend he's injured when he's made a comeback successfully in Poland yesterday!
  15. I'll have to disagree with you & stick with my suggestion mainly because it's such an easy swap to make - Hook & Roynon are very similar standard of rider, so whoever is at 5 & the other at 3 or 4 should have little to no bearing on the teams performance. Plus Edinburgh only had 3 riders who were going to be in heat 15 so he had a two thirds chance of getting 3 on the trot?
  16. I saw that and couldn't understand how there was such a big difference between that & his "official averages" (before noticing a mistake) However my comments were originally saying he hasn't gone to reserve because of poor form, which I stick by. A big home vs away split on other competitions had no bearing on his average. Last year (league matches only) it was 4.51 vs 3.88, this year it's 6.00 vs 3.14. So while his away has dropped a little & is very poor to be honest, it's his big increase in home form that makes it stand out more!
  17. If you're talking about Kyle Bickley, he could only replace Connor Bailey to ride for the Workington team.
  18. Hope you remember who, so you can remind them of it when Poole win the treble lol!
  19. My thoughts are: 1) there's nothing wrong with a draw 2) ok so super heats are exciting, but so are last heat deciders 3) fans might appreciate an extra heat, but it won't encourage more fans to turn up hoping they'll get 16 heats Also very often I'll read fans complaining about a heat not being awarded, such as Laguta losing a 5-1 when Klindt fell & winning the re-run or Jack Holder when he missed out in the re-start of the Warsaw GP. I don't remember any comments of "got an extra race, don't see a problem then"! In those situations it seems fans preferred fairness over value for money, can that be likened to the super heat? I'm sure I'll get a reply of "everyone knows the rules of the superheat before hand, the losing team isn't unlucky" but no-one said that about Holder "everyone knows the rules - you don't get awarded heats in a GP, so Holder isn't unlucky"
  20. Heeps 2023 league averages. Home is 4.63, away is 4.44. 2022 averages were 4.51 / 3.88. Obviously the averages on the SpeedwayGB website only show league matches & maybe there is a bigger gap using koc & bsn fixtures, but the stats don't back calls of his poor away form. EDIT: I've now noticed the averages have Oxford riders with 4 home & 2 away matches ridden, despite the team having ridden 3 home & away, so the averages I went by are bound to be wrong!
  21. Seriously! So Oxford are the first team to beat Poole & instead of praising their team for an awesome performance (some fans) instead assume Poole were trying to drop their averages? What a way to have faith in your team - NOT!
  22. Roynon's 2023 average is higher than both Glasgow reserves. For a rider signed on a 3.5 ave, think he's done his job tbh.
