  1. I don't think it matters, they both score well at reserve. One good meeting for Rowe tonight, doesn't remove the multiple good scores Newman produced at 6.
  2. Or for Gilkes? 3 teams looking for riders on similar averages.
  3. Doesn't matter as the match is now postponed, but that couldn't have been Kent's riding order as Morley has to be at number 1 & Woolley can't ride at reserve. Mind you after Kent raced in the wrong riding order at Leicester (refs fault) perhaps they've found a new rule in the rulebook allowing you to ride in alphabetical order lol!
  4. 7 scored from the four r/r rides, don't think you can use that as an excuse. It's possible they would have won, but nothing Peterborough could claim cost them the match imo
  5. Not sure why he's laughing, his team are on a winning streak but still have very little chance at all of the top 4!
  6. I'd say Ace has been inconsistent this season, exactly what you'd expect from a 16 year old in his first Champ / 2nd NL season!
  7. But the change couldn't have happened without Bombers agreement. If he doesn't agree to the swap, Peterborough have no replacement for Worrall & Leicester can't sign Cook for Batchelor.
  8. The way I see it both Bomber & Richie Worrall had to have agreed to the changes. Peterborough can't drop Worrall till they have a replacement lined up, likewise Leicester can't drop Harris till they have a replacement lined up. If Harris doesn't agree to leave - he can't end up at Peterborough because Worrall isn't available - because Harris isn't replacing him - Harris can't get dropped without being willing to swap clubs!
  9. Wolves 48-42 Leicester Edit: this is my prediction lol!
  10. Very true, the bottom 4 clubs could call off home fixtures against Poole & Oxford to gain 2 unlikely points.
  11. I saw that and was shocked at how quickly Lawson slowed up & I think Worrall was too.
  12. I didn't think Boxall was woeful at all, he wasn't getting out of the starts, which is a killer at Berwick, but tried hard & was on the pace
  13. I would have to say it depends on a match to match basis. For example of you have a rider like Dayle Wood who (no offence) isn't going to beat anyone, it makes sense to give Fredriksen / Clegg the easier rides to score as many as possible. But of you have a rider like Coles who could have the beating of Roynon in heats 2,4,8 then leave Boxall to beat the second strings in the harder races?
  14. I originally thought of Joe T, unsure if he is fit again, but now realise if he is fit, would be riding for Leicester's NL team.
  15. Not really, regardless of who is at 6 or 7, the team manager could swap the reserves over in every heat if he wanted to.
  16. I didn't think that was ever a question. Kelleher is a 4.00 Champ rider, Wood is a 4.00 NL rider.
  17. I have to admit, I most look forward to people's opinions on how a match will go & see if I agree with the majority. Sadly I tend to find 6 pages talking about the weather, 3 pages talking about clubs that don't stream (on Glasgow & Oxford pages) and 1 page actually talking about the match.
  18. I wonder that the guest plan was before Redcar was postponed?
