if no Danny then, how about a Nicholls and Barker 1 and 5 then? with Hume at reserve that should leave enough for 4 good riders

fair point... somethings there, when he can give a ????... away from Foxhall, he was to often found wanting. at home, one week would be a paid max. followed by 3 or 4 next week. the rest of the team weren't strong enough to carry him. Tungate just seems to think hes better than he actually is, and certainly far to good for the premier league...

really don't understand some of the animosity aimed at Risager. he consistently averages around 7, more at home... anyone who thinks he just rides the white line is wrong. i have seen him from the centre green, overtake on the last bend, countless times. and if, he is front, as was usually the case around Foxhall...why on earth would he ride a greater distance! of course hes going to ride the white line... massive upgrade on Tungate, who despite his cockiness, was going backwards...

i don't think Risager should be left out. he was much more consistent than any previous year. Morten scored more consistently away from home too. i know he sometimes has a mare, but a lot less than most. and when he gates, he's difficult to pass

the problem is they need to be doing it away from home as well. for some reason, number one riders come to ipswich and immediately lose 2 points off their starting average... ( doolan, barker, even worrall to start with)

abso bloody lutely.... completely agree. we never seem to have anyone who can consistently score away from home. every team who visits foxhall leaves with at least one double figure point scorer

that will make team building even more difficult then...

yeah, i reckon Danny King is likely to sign. we normally see a "new" team member from the end of season 16 lapper... big average though, the rest of the team may be weaker. although i guess Danny will get a reduction due to being British

do we really want Barker back. he dropped about 2 points on his average whilst with us. i'd like king and worrall as 1 and 5 i think

If we are going to go for King, I still think it could be tungate making way.

as much as i like the lad, i think Tungate may be replaced. we need a big scoring, consistent number 1. i would definately keep Worrall, but as number 5. Gino has to stay. and i really like Morten although his average may work against him with team building this year.
