I guess in theory similar to the proper Belle Vue track which when (not always) prepared correct was a sheer joy to behold -

How Far Do You Have To Travel?
hagonshocker replied to Gresham's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I usually have a drink and a chat/debate with Sommelier along with old Sidney on a thursday at Swindon and he does amaze us with his talk of his travels! Used to travel thousands of miles years ago mainly 80's early 90's but just home meetings mostly these days apart from Cardiff and odd Poole meetings when in Dorset on bizzo -
Bit harsh...all they would want is a demand for one night fixed racing , bikes supplied, transport laid on, free accomodation with built on workshop , meals, fuel, tyres, mechanic paid by the club, au pair, track prepared to THERE liking no-one elses, free Gym membership, flights all arranged and covered by club, you know just a couple of little things...

Probably risking the wrath od upsetting Poole fans but i think i would much rather put money on Worrall scoring a fair bit more than Newman at Leicester this year especially with the strength the Lions have lower end and Stevie has a fair of pair of gating gloves on at the moment could easily score big double figures again

hagonshocker replied to hagonshocker's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
'on paper' is a stupid pointless saying like i said you win sod all on paper look at Poole away? On 'paper' they should beat everyone but they havent have they?...on 'paper' Leicester City should have finished bottom half of the Premier League but erm? So stick your award where the sun dont shine and your paper for wiping it after -

Or perhaps a Q&A via Twitter..

Amazing how a couple of victories can improve the mood but Swindon should be looking to add 3 more points and further improvement from the side with this fixture. Lakeside are somewhat odd around the Abbey over the years can be competitive and also can flatter to deceive, expect AJ to front up but what of the rest? Is Kennett riding in this one as he looked fast last time out here but suspect Swiderski Bridger will struggle against the newly gained confidence and hunger of my boys.

Attitude seems to be the issue...as for average manipulation for once i doubt that as apart from the scapegoat already made who else is looking vulnerable to the great Matt cull? Oh yeah Holder! lol
-
Couldnt imagine anyone would be riding to protest...epsecially Pedersen as that would be most peculiar....dont think Holder would either just think it's because they are riding s**t!

Wolverhampton V Poole. Ela 2/5/16
hagonshocker replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Kyle most certainly is going through it at the moment best wishes to him on a speedy recovery and hope they sort out what the issue is quickly I just said it was quite funny!! Hows that upset? Dont worry im not balling my eyes out about Davey just pointing out it's a bit ironic , Poole could had 'rested' him and done a Dakota and sent him golfing but they didnt and replaced him with someone who already has a fixture clash
