  1. I think with one or two regarding Holder burning out is more of a hope than expectation, still see him holding back just a little compared to his earlier gp career (you know the one where he won a world title) but still being in the mix and like maybe 2 or 3 others actually having a chance to win the thing this year, not saying he will especially this early as that could change withing 2 more gp's but he certainly has a chance, Tai still favourite for me though, yeah i know really sticking my neck out eh?!
  2. The younger riders in particular will vouch for the help encouragement and lend of a motor when they needed it most, Troys career at Swindon had it's ups and downs but i think on the whole more ups, he was most certainly an interesting member of the side and although i wish him well generally i hope he fails miserably against us! Most of his interviews were fine in fact good to listen to but his honesty could get the better of him, didnt or doesnt really know when to lets say use diplomacy!
  3. Makes the little dig at people not having a clue (that were questioning this new stadium build) at the 'Farewell to the Abbey' meeting somewhat embarrassing? the fact this is still dragging on with no signs of any i dotting or t crossing, just seems to be one thing after another to hold things up...having read the poorly worded letter from Wiltshire & Dorset Fire Brigade i have to say i found it a little confusing? But then ive only had two caffeine shots so far
  4. So many great memories of Malc i do wonder why no-one has thought about producing a book about him?! Problem is it could end up like War & Peace too bloody big! What a character yeah it's an old cliche but it applies to that loveable rogue that was The Mad Wellie heart of gold even if he wouldnt admit to it ,total total local legend and being from my background growing up with a lot of let's say interesting people he is right up there amongst the most charismatic' Like Sidney i knew Malc more than Kilb just the timing really being a mite when Kilb was in his pomp but plenty of evenings at The Office (Wheaty) road trips snuck in his van getting a freebie and a few alcohol consumed parties only proved to me what a bloke he was...on the other hand there was a serious side to him his dedication and loyalty to his employer his time for the young riders and generally his generosity to anyone around him, what a massive loss he has been to so many people. Kilb and Wellie , Wellie and Glanzie two great double acts.
  5. But not r******d.... You said this on the other one lol
  6. Lol...personally i wouldnt as it seems to rest on gate toss even more these days and Hans ability as a tosser is a bit more in and out this year Perhaps you could put him at 2 on this thread and at 4 on the duplicate one? See which works out best then...
  7. Stink considerably more than a B.S.P.A conference...and that is saying something
  8. Bugger all about favours! Like Shovvy says it's about revenue at the gate just how many Poole fans would had come up to see a couple of wobblers in the side?...anyway that's enough about Holder and Bjarne we need to see full strength side at every opportunity even if it is Poole...
  9. Cockroaches? What you mean it's now a stand specifically designed for Reading and Oxford Exiles?.....
  10. He's drawn at number 13! So presumably he practiced
  11. Very true...i'd go as far as saying it's an inbred, if im being honest ive lost track of what bloody names it uses!
  12. Most arent happy with that particular ruling especially Alun at Swindon but not really sure what that troll is getting at calling him a disgrace?! The ruling's in most sides will benefit at some stage with a 1-5 rider dropping down and banging in big points...deal with it...oh btw Wright who probably would had scored at least 8 from reserve only scored 2 from the number 2 position..Tungate with the form he is in and gating like he is would had far outscored that
  13. The shape is superb and for early season that track rode well, a nice flowing gp type of track i.e Polish (well the better ones) cant really understand the whiners sniping about only passing available when riders were drifting....if that's the case so what as long as it gives everyone an opportunity TO pass who cares, beautiful looking circuit
  14. A tad pessimistic? 63-29 a tactical double x 2 for Wozniak
  15. I guess in theory similar to the proper Belle Vue track which when (not always) prepared correct was a sheer joy to behold
  16. Looks superb! Very smooth pretty flowing type of track....NL riders looked good round it imagine how good a standard of rider higher will? Quite excited by that track
  17. I usually have a drink and a chat/debate with Sommelier along with old Sidney on a thursday at Swindon and he does amaze us with his talk of his travels! Used to travel thousands of miles years ago mainly 80's early 90's but just home meetings mostly these days apart from Cardiff and odd Poole meetings when in Dorset on bizzo
