Kings Lynn V Poole Ela. 11/8/16
hagonshocker replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
No Poole arent doing anything wrong it's just this ridiculous system where in his 4 programmed rides he faced Lewis Rose in i think all of them? -

Oh no slumming it then -
Although JG was poor at Coventry his home form has been excellent especially last few months he just needs consistency and to get that I think he needs stability EL wise great little rider in there and you never know could do a Doyley yet, and for those reasons he would stay in my team I also agree with some Tungate was the obvious choice when his average looked inflated and was also all at sea at home but he has generally mastered the place and his average has stayed above 6 pushing 6.50 so basically job done but I did see the logic in the idea of replacing back when

Are you lot going to bang on about Ellis and Bates for the rest of your lives? Talk about belling me up! ZZZZZf*****g fest or what?! Let's just hope both develop and in any case of it wasnt for the ridiculous under 21 reserves ruling we probably wouldnt be having to listen or read such inane drivel , both good talents very much different types of rider and personality let it go ffs people, as for Newman who keeps getting dragged into this his career is totally different to those two and will quite probably remain a average to reasonable PL rider with an inflated EL average i personally rate Starke higher but still wouldnt have him in the same bracket eventually as the two that keep getting banged on about.

So Who Is Going To Win The El In 2016?

If between Belle Vue and Poole i really hope Aces prevail as victors just to ram Shovlars words down his throat -
Lakeside-v- Belle Vue 5 Th August.
hagonshocker replied to E I Addio's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Oh come on that night the Lakeside riders clearly weren't happy with the track hardly takes a quantum physics scientist o work that result out! Good result for Aces and proves Belle Vue Poole and Wolves are strong units over two legs against anyone other side -
Probably the reason why the track has been as poor this year is because of the threats of a new stadium and track, not being willing to spend money on track improvements while they were being promised a brand new one at some point, what makes me suspicious even more now is why all of a sudden this late stage of the season we have new shale purchased? Does that mean the club have been informed that there is definatly no new Abbey next year? Will be interesting to see what the track rides like over the next two meetings whenever they will be!

Swindon - Kings Lynn 4.8.16
hagonshocker replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Last two rides he gated diabolically, pulled up onto the centre green after he just managed to hold Troy out and looked dejected with his bike -

Thought Troy had a bit of a go as did Lambert but the rest were so inconsistent...well Kerr and Rose were very disappointing Schlein started off ok although despite winning heat 3 still looked a bit iffy and what can you make of Puk? Very up and down as seems to be the norm for him at Blunsdon , yes i agree with Sidney was impressed with NBJ and above all nice to see Darcy back at the Abbey -

Bit cloudy but hopefully that wind will blow anything across, should be a close meeting but whether it's a good one...lol KL harder to predict than us tonight you know what you get with PUK it does what it says on the fuel tank , Lambert has yet to really impress at the Stade but feel tonight he may well do, Rory erm could still struggle although if the track is prepared ok who knows, NBJ no real idea , Lewis boys could be a handful for Wright although i see Kerr is at 2? Not easy for him and that kind of leaves Troy? What's he gonna do? Either gate and win or miss the gate shut off into the corner and pull up after 3 laps...could be interesting...as for us? Doyle and prob JG apart god knows! -
Become a joke hasnt it? You have the top riders moaning about having too many meetings to cram in if they do EL yet we as fans get a meeting once in a blue moon, ok if you can afford to go to other meetings willy nilly but for the ones that can only budget for home meetings are lucky to see 2 meetings every five or 6 weeks!

And we question why crowds are down? On one hand we have Mike Bowden and Stella Rose Walton taking the club out to local events but nothing usually about the impending home fixture until quite late, we have info on Darcy being there but very little about the meeting itself And we question why crowds are down? I thought Brady looked a little off the pace personally think it is the right call bringing on Josh G who was initially strongly considered by Lemo and would had got the nod ahead of Kurtz anyway if it wasnt for the under 21 rule, has looked very fast at The Abbey recently as well as Zummerzet tend to think BV could suit him but will need to brush up on the gating a little or at least be in close contention off the ist corners

Dont think a paper round quite qualifies...

Sweden Favourites?

Could had been worse, could have been The Czech Republic...oh hang on.. -
Yeah very true but those saddos wont seek out the truth just in case it gets in the way of a good witch hunt, the twats There is a good argument for that actually although i tend to think Lemo will stay loyal to his riders, Brady, although having had an up and down season, always gives the impression there is a big performance in a meeting like this in him whereas i think Masters just tends to mill through bigger events tends to become a bit taught let's face it he messed up the Aussie title in reality despite being given a mahoosive late bite at the cherry. Gating wise you would tend to favour Masters but recently his away form for Wolves has become a little muddly wasnt at all impressed with him at Blunsdon a few meetings back and i find good performances from either tend to linger in the memory when it comes from Kurtz, for friday just have a feeling about him and not so Masters, saying that he will probably gate and score about 12 now!
