  1. Would imagine there is more stress in everyday life than managing a poxy speedway team...ludicrous to even think a couple of riders moaning would result in a trip to the hospital there could be an underlying issue that had built up, I've suffered from recent anxiety and stress but thankfully have had it dealt with for the better , it's surprising how it can affect your attitude to life and people ...would like to congratulate Steve on losing the weight I've done similar stood on the scales in early March weighed 16'3 nearly passed out but now down to 12'12 and another stone to go it's amazing how physically and mentally improved you can feel! Best wishes to Dale
  2. Oh i see the Aussie hater is still sticking his little knife in? Reckless? You really are a first rate knobhead ...Master Bates by name...
  3. We're doing the train this year going Friday morning coming back Sunday hopefully get practice in with refreshments either side , will get the chance of being in the pits prior to both practice and meeting for first time this year
  4. Yeah but to be fair that's with a guest scoring 9 from 4....the rest of the side were brilliant but at Poole it's still a massive ask with R/R so again a good guest required....wonder what Troy is doing? Although not confident he will hit double figures there
  5. Yeah seems to be a theme with 3 or 4 over the years
  6. No test event this year unless of course it's a top secret!
  7. Just as strong? Lol no way ...I mean seriously?! They scored 6 for his programmed rides and at Poole certainly will at best match that, does anyone seriously think Doyley would score 6?!
  8. Well well well!!!! Heroics from Boom boom Bellego again and to think a certain person wanted him replaced by Mads lmao
  9. Think a lot would do both although maybe for the first year some would choose Manchester as a weekend break instead of Cardiff? I personally prefer Cardiff but could imagine a usually well prepped NSS would be immense, btw 9 days to go getting exciting now! Especially after all this monotonous tennis coverage! Mind you don't know who's more excited me or the kids have missed out for a few seasons sadly
  10. Well that's that then limited choice of guests have to be honest was surprised to hear he was riding in any league meetings this week or before cardiff
  11. Wasn't particularly referring to Somerset fans should had made that clear!
  12. Encouraging from Doyley must be happy with his foot
  13. Lmao yeah perhaps Ford isn't such a magnet these days...in more ways than one...
  14. Some felt Lawson signing for Somerset was a bit average and although he's only rode a handful for them look how he's gone! Admittedly he's been a massive improvement on Tungate and Worrall will find it difficult maybe impossible to replace Kurtz but IF Klindt is fit enough to ride and Kasprzak comes back firing Poole should be able to muddle through til BK comes back But I have to agree strange to see Mr Ford finding it difficult to tempt certain other riders back....
  15. Would need to ride to his potential to improve us points wise but the key is he keeps Ellis at reserve for a while and has the ability to pop out of the gate in the top 5 and stay there particularly at home which lets face it is our priority
  16. Hey up now that's more like it! Should give us a better balance
  17. No need to apologise we all know IT isn't even a Poole fan or any kind of proper supporter!
  18. Mads though......🙁 I think as our season (regards to playoffs) are over do we take a gamble and make two changes lower down to incorporate Mikkel B.Andersen assuming he becomes a 5 or do we stick with what we have or close to it I.e say Douglas for Gapp who has been struggling for Berwick and just concentrate on avoiding bottom which despite having meetings in hand over Lions isn't inconvievable? How for example would we fare against say Glasgow at there place because just say Nick doesn't come back after his layoff in the same confident mood we could certainly struggle up there in an away leg?
  19. You think?? I don't and I wouldn't take much notice of Mads form abroad... David and Zach currently scoring about 12 between them do you really think those two would better that? And leaving Gap in doesn't help us whatsoever
  20. Not this year no chance we aren't a threat to anyone plus we have little scope to make any change of signifance, your talking a 4 something for a erm 4 something! Actually we may be a threat to Somerset or Leicester regarding stealing bottom....
  21. He's a good lad who should had progressed better but he has a lot of ability
  22. Ryan Douglas please think he would do ok despite not quite hitting the heights for Scunny
