  1. I think this kind of event loses credibility when you get a slovenian guesting for the czech republic. Maybe britain should be represented by smolinski and vaculik.
  2. Tai has a bit of the devil about him but I think that just adds to his appeal, he also does a lot of great work for Charity. Anyone who has seen him as guest presenter on sky sports or conducting interviews in Polish aren't going to question how articulate he is either.
  3. The success of Tai Woffinden could play a major role in boosting crowds and increasing the profile of the sport nationwide. Speedway in this country needs a superstar to increase its popularity. Tai is a future World Champion in the making and I think he has the strength of personality to transend the sport and be a national celebrity. Afterall not too many cared about cycling before Mark Cavendish and Bradley Wiggins came along. Also Speedway promoters need to stop complaining about radio and web updates affecting gates and embrace new technology/social media as another opportunity to promote their teams. People expect sport to be entertainment these days, just look at the IPL as an example of how to breathe new life into a traditional sport.
  4. Also Motorcycling news is a commercial publication. Most of its income comes from advertising from major brands who sell bikes clothes etc. Speedway doesn't advertise mechandise or machinery to the general public, No adverting income = no publicity/features.
