  1. Lakeside announce Zach Wajtknecht as an asset.
  2. Probably engaged his brain before talking for a change. He would've looked extremely silly spouting off about Brandon then moaning about the Poole track also.
  3. The tier 2 rider stays at reserve while the tier 1 rider can move up. If a club has two tier 2 riders then the one with the highest starting average assumes the tier 1 role.
  4. He will start well as he will start as a 2nd string, id have still signed him for this season if it was just about averages but it isnt. His attitude was awful and the issue about not team riding with Sarj meant he was never going to come back. If he does similar riding at Poole their fans won't be too impressed either, Poole are successful as they ride as a team all pulling in the same direction.
  5. I wonder why Hans was riding as a 2nd string in the playoffs? Just maybe because he had a poor season? SCB is spot on, a few decent performances from Hans and we would've been top.
  6. Going by the numbers they were wearing at P&P the Bees riding order will be, 1,Kasprzak 2,Garrity 3,King 4,Woryna 5,Harris 6,Bates 7,Sarjeant
  7. Agree with that. If we had 5 points available then its fair enough signing.
  8. Perhaps(?) luckily a new stadium isnt in the hands of our current promotion A new stadium (if it ever happens) will not just be for speedway. Dont think any new stadium in any sport can just be for just that sport. Really needs to have multi use like Belle Vue.
  9. Wouldn't take too much from results yet but always encouraging when riders show decent form early on.
  10. Yeah I can see the benefit to be fair, it is a glorified challenge after all. Are we allowed R/R for number ones this year though?
  11. If/when Coventry get a new stadium id be more than happy if its half a good as what Belle Vue looks like. Credit goes to everyone involved and im looking forward to the World Cup already.
  12. Would've been an awful start to the season. Id ask Craig Cook if available after his play-off performance at Poole.
  13. I didn't go but a mate says Woryna looked better after each heat he raced. I wouldn't write him off just yet but its easy to make him a scapegoat considering we had plenty of points available. Already showed much more than Jamrog, it's not fair to base an opinion on Woryna using another riders form from a year ago. On a plus side it seems Josh Bates had a great last two rides in the Ben Fund, I can see him and Sarj making another improvement this season.
  14. Chris Harris finances were said to be very healthy a few years back, not millionaire standards but very nice indeed. His familys house in Binley Woods would be worth a few bob alone!
  15. She has said herself she will be doing some speedway events.
  16. I'm sure he wants to make an impression 😉 I have no issue with Kasprzak facing Poole after a superb performance in the 2010 final.
  17. Why were riders allowed to leave before the fans were allowed into the stadium. Very poor indeed.
  18. The rain we had on Wednesday was very heavy from early hours till afternoon. Seen pictures yesterday near to Brandon with fields and roads flooded. Today's would've been a lovely day to watch P&P.
  19. Had an operation on his nose to help with breathing. He was going to ride at the training camp but actually took the doctors advice to rest it for another week.
  20. 2 years in a row Coventry wasn't asked. Got to the final in 2014 then finished 2nd in the League last year.....
  21. They've only released the rules and regulations for 2016 yesterday so I expect some clubs will announce number 8+9 this week. I don't think we are signing him having a quick look at the rules, he'd be sharing a role if he was signed.
  22. Morris is contracted to both, being an asset has sod all to do with it unless its his two British clubs riding the same day. If he is British then his British club would take priority but when his nationality is neither of the clubs it usually goes to the club who arranges the fixture first. Andreas Jonsson for example is a Cov asset, if he rode for Cov but if his Polish club arranged a fixture first he would ride for them and the same vice versa. Its happened plenty of times in the past, being an asset has no bearing unless its a clash of British clubs. Of course the Swindon match could have been in the fixture list first hence him riding for them, I was giving a valid reason why he perhaps might not have been.
  23. Doesn't matter if he's an asset, he's contracted to both clubs so whichever meeting was arranged first he rides for that club unless there is either a deal between the clubs so he could ride at one or simply his polish club dont require him for that meeting. Whatever the reason it seems he will ride for Swindon so a bit of common sense has prevailed.
