Different roles but i don't think he's ever done that well at Poole. We should see a much improved Garrity tonight

9+1 from 6 rides and 8 from 5 rides last year so not all conquering at Wolves as people seem to think. Got home from work feeling upbeat about tonight, let me sleep on it and I'm sure that'll change!

Coventry messed Coventry up with the picks, how did we get two riders below 10 on the list while some clubs have two in the top ten.

Sarj having an awful night for Ipswich 0,0,F so far although he was 2nd in his 3rd ride before his fall. King unbeaten.

Shame its not at Belle Vues old stadium, he was excellent there too! Or Coventry. He has a few tracks he enjoys. Would not be surprised if he made the semis yet again.

Will be a close meeting as they always are v Poole at Brandon. I expect a much better showing from Sarj, Bates and Garrity at Brandon, just hoping KK is fully fit so we can give it a proper go.

Let's be honest there shouldn't even be a debate as to who is the better rider at the moment. Garrity 8pt PL rider a 2nd string at EL level, finishing 4th in the British Final and made a GP appearance. Newman hasn't shown anything near that yet but he could do in future.

But reserves can now move up and Garrity still didnt want to be an EDR. Only thing I can think of its about money and didn't want an EDR wage but I bet other EDR are not on a fixed rate.

He was absolutely adamant he wouldn't be a draft rider, the promotion tried to persuade him. I'm not worried about Garrity, not sure he's ever performed well at Poole, we will see a different Garrity at home. Sounds like Woryna did ok considering its his first meeting and v Poole and Bomber had a good night. King score was average but the other 3 needed to step up a bit. All in all its what we pretty much expected once KK was ruled out. Oh and Poole haven't cheated in any way, the constant "Poole Cheated" posts is embarrassing and wearing pretty thin.

I'm more than willing to give him a chance but the fact is he scores less than Jamrog in Poland. One difference is Jamrog had just a few weeks to prepare but Woryna has had all winter which should help him and already shown better form in the Ben fund than Jamrog did in several.

Think it might take Kurtz a while to get going, not sure he's rode at many EL tracks. 2nd half of the season I expect he will kick on. More likely to see Buzz at number one than reserve but even though it'll because of their strong side I will still have a chuckle if Hans drops down to reserve.

He is the signing that makes the difference between Poole and everyone else.

Poole will lose a few away no doubt, its silly to suggest otherwise. Teams like Coventry, Swindon and Kings Lynn will probably strengthen come May 1st and look a much better prospect than they do at the minute.

Exactly this. Coventry will almost certainly be able to bring in someone like Larsen after May 1st

If we get anything over 32 points I'd call it a morale victory without a number 1 .

Because its not the goal for the season. We already had injury scares this season plus Bomber blowing an engine, id much prefer the team to get as much testing as possible to be ready for the League season. If we win it great but I wouldn't be throwing a party afterwards.

Really couldn't care about the Elite Shield. There is only one trophy we all want to win.

Yes ive read them now. It was certainly the original plan to keep the tier 2 rider at reserve but they must have had a change of plan to an EDR must ride at 7. Think we will see a lot of edr alternate roles throughout the season.

It is, Coventry have had the benefit of doing similar a few years back. Always surprised me more clubs don't do the same.
