After May 1st the heat leader list is null and void. Think it may explain the make up of the side. Gives the opportunity to bring someone in who would be regarded as heatleader but I might be giving Horton too much credit for thinking that!

If course there is, Sky have changed the date of this twice for tv coverage now cant be bothered to show it at all. What's worse is that they said theyve based the decision based on forecast which is frankly a lie. I only kept Sky Sports for Speedway coverage if they cant be bothered give me my money back!

The signing of King is what did us, narrowed all the options for a decent 2nd string. I would suggest wait till May as to whether our season is over.

Just can't replace Sarj, no one available who is better and he will improve. Granted his start has been poor but his two heat wins v the top 2 pairings shows he can do it just needs it to be more consistent. As for King if we are going to wait till May 1st we'd be mad to let him go, he would be very good in that number 4 role, better than Woryna.

For example we could possibly replace Woryna with Larsen after May 1st which would then put King as a 2nd sting. That would make a huge difference in scoring power for the top 5. There are so many options available if we can riders here. I think it was fairly obvious a change was being made when the heat leader list is abolished, its the only thing that makes sense building the team they did. Garrity has underperformed but I suspect after a decent score yesterday he will improve. KK attended a funeral yesterday morning and had a mad dash to get back to Britain. Might explain his bike problems yesterday.

Mick Horton has issued an apology said the buck stops with him. Also said its virtually impossible to make changes until May 1st so I guess he will be looking at getting King in the 2nd string role and signing another heatleader. Didnt realise there was only 4 meetings till May, still think we can get a result at both meetings v KL.

Leicester being a Saturday track didnt help their cause. Also riders become available early season once they realise they are not going to get many meetings for their Polish or Swedish clubs. To be honest we only need to find one heat leader standard rider if we wait till May and King can drop to 2nd string but don't think fans will wait for that if poor form continues.

We are THREE points below the limit id change King and Woryna personally if the right riders are available. That would give us over 13 points to play with, thats a massive amount to have for a 3rd heatleader and 2nd string. Lets try and get closer to the limit so we can at least have a chance.

To be fair people not going because they hadn't announced a replacement for Sarjeant are the ones probably not going anyway or are going but just like to say they are not to try and make a point. Its replacing a tier 2 rider for another. Its not like they are replacing KK for Knuckey which then fans would have a point. Doesn't mean that what I've said above the promotion get away with it, should be announced earlier or at least let fans know the situation.

I got to be honest it wouldn't stop me going not knowing who is going to replace Sarj, a heat leader different story. Still having said that its still poor they haven't said if he's even missing yet, just smacks of being unprofessional. Its not like its just been sprung on them. I thought wed win if we had Sarjeant, now depends on who replaces him! Sarjeant has confirmed he isn't riding tonight.

Sarj has been asking about insurance on twitter, wonder if it's related to him missing meetings? If Sarj is missing and we replace him with someone inexperienced Wolves will certainly be favourites. Had a crash last week but suppose he could be fit enough for tonight.

You can only change a draft rider with a draft rider.

Surely they would've booked one yesterday just in case. Doubt Sarj is riding as we would know by now.

Was talking about home form generally. King had an excellent meeting last week, Bates and Sarj have won heats against the top 2 reserve pairings, think they will fair better against the other pairings at Brandon. Just mentioned Garrity as he is the one who hasn't shown any form at Brandon yet. Completely agree with you that the make up of the side isn't right, I said so on the Swindon meeting thread. Id be astounded if a change isn't made in May regardless of how well the team is doing.

If we used the points available we'd be a decent side. The King signing was a poor one for the fact it completely narrowed our option for the final rider. Couldn't be on the heat leader list, couldn't be a d/u either.

He's been OK. Would've scored 7 last week but for a puncture when leading fairly comfortably. Its Garrity that needs a good meeting and it can be tonight, gets back to some half decent form and we will be OK.

There were more than 100 cars in the car park when I arrived at 3.50pm. I would agree that the crowd was poor but that was the 4th meeting at Brandon this season already. I dont go to watch the Storm often but I'm determined to make more of an effort this season.

Rubbish excuse. He has equipment in Sweden ge could bring over. What would he bring to the SWC or GP? You are forgetting his excuse is he doesn't want to be burnt out. I assume he wouldn't do that meeting either. Plus the team name is Rest of the World surely they can find 7 riders that will competitive and attractive enough to ride against the Polish national team without Tai. Tai is British and the captain he should honour his national commitments so if he does then ride in a glorified friendly its not about being burnt out its about money. Also isnt there wildcards to the British Final anyway? Not sure Tai would accept a wildcard anyway with GP Saturday, Pol Sun, British Final Monday and Swe Tuesday.

Think this will be a close one but KK and Harris will see us take the points. I wonder if we will have a guest for Sarjeant again.

If the side isnt changed im May then the team building during the winter definitely wont make any sense. The saving grace so far that we will have plenty of points to play with to get a heat leader in for probably Woryna which will move King into a 2nd string role.

Unacceptable. We all know our team building during the winter hasn't made much sense and we had 3 guests today but losing to this Swindon side by 20 points isnt good enough. Why the hell was this meeting arrange on probably the only Thursday KK was missing? Not good enough all round.
