He is certainly taking one rider (Roberts) to some just to gain experience and feel what a GP day is like. I dont think there will be several per GP, perhaps one or two at a time from what I've read.

Exactly. Bomber has set up 'Team Harris' which includes several young riders and I believe young mechanics too. Some of them will actually travel to GPs with him.

We just have to get these Poole meetings out of the way then make a permanent signing. I wouldn't expect a wow signing but someone that will push King to 2nd string or at least alternate with him like Kylmakorpi did last year. We would look a lot more solid then.

To be fair if we are going to postpone meetings for riders missing we'd never get the season finished. Better fixture planning needed!

Didnt see us crying to get the fixture postponed, we got on with it. It is what it is, the meeting was agreed on this date move on. Why it was agreed on this date with Holder missing is another matter. Now they have a decent guest, Holder is probably delighted to be missing Coventry anyway.

In a 2nd string role not number one but he's certainly better than last season so far. Probably a fair enough guest for Holder, doesn't make Poole stronger or weaker. Holder and Lindgren have had good and bad meetings at Brandon.

Why should Horton change the date? Its not his fault an opposition rider is missing and I don't think I've ever seen you bleating about this when the opposition come to Poole with a rider missing. Sounds like Bees are happy enough that Poole should get a facility announcing Lindgren as guest early.

Although i don't see why the fixture was put on this date in thw first place, Horton is well within his rights not to change the date once it was agreed. Ford wouldn't change the date if the boot was on the other foot. Other clubs have to make do when things like this (happened to Cov numerous times) at least it will make it closer.

It wasn't a choice for Holder, the Torun fixture was on the list first so he rides there. Surely its not difficult to have another side ride Friday night instead.
