  1. Yes but the reasons of the standard thats put in front of you is the issue.
  2. Yes hence why he has issues with how they conduct business. Some clubs must follow Poole's lead for whatever reason. It was quite well known last season that Hans and Ellis would be at Poole this season, Hans even said during the semi "if you can't beat them join them". Seems some promotions have followed suit. Any other club planning in advance would soon have their plans scuppered at the AGM a bit like Coventry for the 2011 season. That why no other club does much planning in advance. Its fairly obvious the BSPA made a pigs ear out of it yet again with the majority of the league suffering as a consequence. We can have a guest in that scenario.
  3. Some strong opinion from Mick Horton in the star regarding rules this year etc. Also a quote that he doesn't agree with how Poole does its business. Does he mean at the AGM?
  4. As things stand we will have around Eight points to play with to replace Woryna. Also the next green sheets its likely that Bates will be in the top 5 and then the Woryna position goes to reserve (unless changes).
  5. Our crowds held up when we finished bottom in 2013, no reason that wont happen again. Weather doesn't look too great for tomorrow.
  6. So why did the ref ask for work on the track after the incident?
  7. He's one place too high in the side but even then he should score more than 2.
  8. Or perhaps they built the side like this knowing they could add another heatleader in May? Dont think they expected King to be as poor as he has been though. Id be astonished if a rider hasn't already signed from May 1st. The fact they haven't replaced Woryna straight away would support that. They they would both fit.
  9. A half decent number 3 and 4 would've got us close to a point, being so far under the limit isnt helping. With the heatleader list we are stuck until May.
  10. Id rather see how May plays out regarding signings before writing the season off. Having said that I'm going to the Wasps European Cup semi final on Saturday instead of Brandon on Friday.
  11. I've been saying King will be good at 4 but doubting that now, struggled to beat reserves recently. Its that number 3+4 that's killing us. With KK it must be the crash that had an effect on his score tonight. Agree with you about Sarj its getting concerning but its got to turn around for him soon and to be fair he's only really faced Poole and Leicester's reserves, did OK at KL.
  12. 15 points in 11 heats isn't good whatever the strength of the side is.
  13. King to go, 2 points tonight isn't acceptable.
  14. Abysmal after heat 5, I know its against Poole and missing Woryna but its just not acceptable
  15. Asked for track work after KK straightened up apparently
  16. Poland don't really have a fixed race day now. They have meetings Friday, Saturday, Sunday and the occasional Monday this season. Even Denmark run on more than one day.
  17. Nathan Hughes will be in the England squad soon enough too. To be fair he has a point, English players have to play in England to get picked and I believe the same with Australians unless they've reached 60+ caps. Its basically a tool to keep the best home grown talent in the country
  18. The issue I have is that he is GB captain. Doesn't sit right with me that he didn't do the training camp that he suggested nor doing the national championships. He can do what he likes as an individual but i think a national captain should at least be a part of these things. If he wants to be single minded and just compete for GB in the SWC fine, its not what a captains mandate should be though. .
  19. His last 2 visits, the playoff semi and Elite shield. He beat Newman around Poole a couple of times last season though.
  20. Always look at the positives but even then we lose this. King is one place too high in the side but granted he's had decent meetings at Poole in the past, just wish he was at number 4!
  21. 6-8 weeks out. We would really need KK and Bomber to score heavily to make it any sort of contest. Garrity has picked up form although Poole isnt one of his favourites but hopefully can score well. Cant see us getting close at all and I'm the one who is usually optimistic.
  22. Dont know just a hunch ive had for a while. Would fit the bill. Bjerre or Bjarne would be the others id guess would be in the frame. Bjerre has started the season well.
  23. Sarj averaging 4 and Bates 4.25, it will stay around that after Friday. That's 1.5-2 points added but I guess the top 5 will lose a bit. Jason Garrity named in the Kings Lynn round of GP qualifying May 7.
  24. Not sure about that as Bates and Sarj will get averages. I just have a hunch that MJJ will be back.
  25. Yes mostly as in majority. As a group OAPs have more disposable income than any other age group. Your way of looking at things, those on minimum wage should also get in cheaper because not everyone has a decent wage.
