  1. So why were Poole allowed a facility if the Torun fixture was rearranged after ours were released?
  2. What a win! Just shows get King to 4 and a half decent signing as 3rd heatleader we will do well.
  3. To be honest I was disappointed we didn't win the home leg of the Elite Shield, it was a draw going into heat 15. Garrity unlucky with an exclusion and King obviously underpowered all meeting. All we needed was KK and Harris to continue to be dominant in heat 15 but Poole got out of the gate. R/R will hurt us tonight though so expect a similar scoreline to the Elite Shield.
  4. If it was after Poole shouldn't be allowed a guest. If it was before then Ford is just whinging for the sake of it.
  5. His mechanic but it seems it may have been a total accident.
  6. Maybe but thats not the point. That rule applies in the WSL, not heard that rule for League Speedway.
  7. Ours were published 21st Jan was Torun announced before? IF our fixture was in the list first then isnt it no facility for Holder?
  8. Yes your right I've got the months between them the wrong way round. I don't understand why Holder isn't riding for Poole then. Surely as the Torun fixture is rearranged he rides for Poole that how it usually is isn't it? Its how it work with MJJ when he decided to ride in a rearranged meeting in Sweden instead of riding for Coventry so Coventry sacked him. He was instructed to ride for Cov even though he rode for his Swedish club longer. Sounds a bit dodgy to me 👍 😂
  9. Was there even a FTR draw? Km very doubtful there was. As for the rules you cant change them mid season the promoters went for it so have to stick by it.
  10. Why agree to the date in the first place? It was known before the fixture list was published. Don't arrange fixtures when riders are missing, simple. I dont think any other club would cancel with the opposition number 1 missing either including Matt Ford. The home side will always look after themselves in this situation and have every right to carry on the meeting as agreed. Blame the fixture planning which all the promoters are involved in.
  11. I agree, the post was in annoyance at his scores. Said elsewhere give him the chance to perform at 4, hopefully then we will have a very good top 5 come May.
  12. Yes but after Fridays meeting it could be higher unless Bates has a poor one. Probably doesn't matter as a replacement for Woryna is expected
  13. I'm assuming the contractors will get a financial penalty after this is sorted?
  14. Richie has been in great form this season hasn't he?
  15. Bates and Woryna both averaging 4, 6 points from his 5 rides Friday will put him top 5 but I expect a signing by the next meeting anyway so Bates will stay at reserve. That's Bates assessed average. After yesterday he completed 2 home 2 away and his average is 4.
  16. If we don't replace Woryna then Bates will likely be in the top 5 after Friday
  17. They said they want to run a meeting before this. Now that the Colts v Storm is postponed I guess this will be now too.
  18. No idea says he doesn't agree with the way Poole do business. Almost certainly about what happens at the AGM as he isn't happy about the rules that were voted in. Could be Horton just ranting (not the first time won't be the last) but I have to question how Poole got exactly what they needed. I was told that there wasn't even a draft this year so clubs just signed FTRs. Would explain how Leicester got Auty and Starke and Poole Newman and Ellis.
  19. We would have the potential if we had a rider at 4. R/R will kill us in the end. As things stand we are 4 points below the limit! Or the old BV, can we move there?
  20. So he cant have any thoughts on anything apart from a new stadium? Come on. All speedway fans should care if something underhand is happening, hell all fans should care anyway with the way its being run. Hes certainly attended meetings regarding new stadium and trying to save Brandon.
  21. Yes but the reasons of the standard thats put in front of you is the issue.
  22. Yes hence why he has issues with how they conduct business. Some clubs must follow Poole's lead for whatever reason. It was quite well known last season that Hans and Ellis would be at Poole this season, Hans even said during the semi "if you can't beat them join them". Seems some promotions have followed suit. Any other club planning in advance would soon have their plans scuppered at the AGM a bit like Coventry for the 2011 season. That why no other club does much planning in advance. Its fairly obvious the BSPA made a pigs ear out of it yet again with the majority of the league suffering as a consequence. We can have a guest in that scenario.
  23. Some strong opinion from Mick Horton in the star regarding rules this year etc. Also a quote that he doesn't agree with how Poole does its business. Does he mean at the AGM?
  24. As things stand we will have around Eight points to play with to replace Woryna. Also the next green sheets its likely that Bates will be in the top 5 and then the Woryna position goes to reserve (unless changes).
  25. Our crowds held up when we finished bottom in 2013, no reason that wont happen again. Weather doesn't look too great for tomorrow.
