  1. Bizarre that Ford had a right go at Coventry for not changing a date when only Holder was missing but doesn't have the sane attitude for Lakeside when 5 riders missing. Wonder why!
  2. Garrity has had some good scores at Leicester especially for Sheffield in a challenge match where he rode as a heatleader in an EL format. Think our top 4 will score well and if Woryna can score some points it'll be a win for the Bees
  3. I always try to attend when we are on Sky but I have to admit there has been the odd occasion where it gets nearer start time and I think sod it I will watch on Sky. Its mainly when there has been poor weather around!
  4. Danby King is now averaging over 6 in that 3rd heatleader role, he is in great form so hopefully can push that average up further.
  5. Good win for the Bees I thought the reserves would be the difference and they were. Another away win at Leicester and we are on a roll!
  6. If thats going to start happening we will need to replace him. Cant see us winning now.
  7. Only lost by 2 in the A fixture, we should be looking to win to be honest.
  8. With Kacper and Bates at reserve it should help us, Bates is pretty good round Kings Lynn.
  9. Changed my mind too, after last night Bates deserves the reserve nomination.
  10. Bomber testing at Peterborough today.
  11. Had my dinner look out the window and my garden is soaking wet again and still raining.
  12. Have they? How can we possibly know that? Have you seen the track? The amount of rain fall we've had in the last few days it would have been heavily waterlogged. We are one of a few clubs that gives meeting a chance where possible so i guess they were sure it wasnt retrievable. Heavy showers from 7pm according to accuweather too. They left yesterday by all accounts.
  13. Was always doubtful with the forecast ahead and the downpours we've had the last few days.
  14. Its has to be as things stand. Woffinden Cook Lambert King Ellis (u21 reserve) Could change if riders lose/gain form. Bomber should only be considered if one of them is injured beforehand, Nicholls probably close to being named
  15. The forecast between 6pm-8pm looks awful though. If it goes ahead Bees should win comfortably. Dont think Lambert has had a good EL meeting at Brandon yet but Kings Lynn will need him to support Iversen if they are to get anything. Batchelor om a wet track??
  16. No better sight than watching Bomber in full flow around Brandon and he's shown that plenty of times this season already. A superb club man who always gives 100% for whoever he rides for.
  17. He guested for Swindon too. Probably not the track for him but he has 'done it' against decent riders there. Not often enough though. Using an engine he hasn't used all year in a British Final baffled me especially as it was basically an audition for the World Cup team. He was so quick in his last ride in the Danish GP as well.
  18. Has beaten Zagar, Cook and Nicholls at BV to be fair. Chopping and changing equipment doesn't help Bomber. Needs to settle with one, stick with it and see where he goes. Can't dismiss Bomber IF the form improves but as things stand no i wouldn't have him in the side.
  19. I wouldn't have Harris in the GB team either to be honest. Unless of course he shows some excellent form in the EL and gets decent points in the next couple of GPs. Think Tai, Cook and Lambert are certainties its that 4th spot up for grabs. Ellis will get the reserve spot.
  20. As you well know it was because of the numbers being 3 points short. If there was another option Bees fans would've suggested that but there isn't. I think he will become a decent rider, scored 10 against Torun yesterday and i think he beat Hancock twice.
  21. A change shouldve happened a while ago, don't think we will see one now.
  22. The issue isnt the likes of PK being in reserve, its the heat format which makes it far to easy for riders to move up and down. The old heat format would have gave a far more fairer reflection on a riders ability and would be more difficult to move up or down. Having said that the format helps produce better racing with riders generally at a similar standard in each heat.
  23. Garrity didnt need the draft as more than one club were happy to take him in their top 5. Cant see any rider turn that down with the extra income attached. If he wasn't in our top 5 he would've been in someone else's. The actual draft picks were the issue and signing King which seriously hampered our options for the final rider. Garrity had a poor start to the season (machine issues mainly) but now seems in far better form and i can see him pushing King for that 3rd heatleader role by the end of the season.
  24. Second that! The Belle Vue-Coventry meeting was the best ive seen in a long time. Dont think I've seen a poor EL meeting this season to be honest.
