Statement says yes! I know Mick Horton isn't everyone's cup of tea but he along with Cllr Michael Stokes deserves a huge amount of credit for achieving this. Horton is part of the reason we got this deal.

Yes but he it will help the developers case if the stadium wasn't in use a couple of years before he submits plans. They will need permission to bulldoze the stadium. The developer only gave us 2 years when he bought the site hence the position we are in. The councillor cannot promise the developer any houses being built as that goes through the planning department who have to adhere to the law of planning. It would be very hard for the developer to get any successful application on the site with the stadium in constant use.

Bomber was fine before the meeting doing his usual captain role before the start. Is a bit of a myth that King is in better form. Bomber is out scoring King. Not the two meetings that everyone was looking at though.

He has come 3rd in a GP this season so there is a case. Also forgetting previous SWC performances and handling the pressure which should count for something. His scores round there haven't been great but he's beaten Cook twice out of 4 league races around there. As I said i wouldn't have picked him but to say he didn't have a case is just not correct. Most other tracks I'd say he would've been in the side.

Because the developer wants to build houses on it. A long deal wouldn't help his case if/when he puts an application in.

Thing is I'd bet on Bomber to beat the top riders over King and Cook. If his set up is right he's a big asset to have in the side (heat 15 last night for example) but if it isn't he could be a sitting duck.

Garrity hasnt caused the team to be imbalance, that's the managements fault. They pick the reserves poorly. Its quite simple Garrity was not going to be a draft rider whoever signed him and there was a couple who wanted him.

Did suggest that could have been a possibility. Think KK bike going pop cost us. To be fair he was comfortable leading one heat before his bike went. After that Woryna took his final ride. Heat one Zagar jumped the start massively and hindered KK who after the race gestured to the ref about the start.
