Why last minute it should've been pencilled in weeks ago! If all the squad isn't doing it then I don't see the point in arranging it. This week is about the team not individuals. Think Rosco needs to perhaps plan better and be a bit more stronger telling riders they need to be there.

I guess as Horton now 'runs' the stadium then Heaver would rent it off him. Would be madness if Heaver didn't. Wouldn't be surprised if the Stox paid very little rent as Heaver is the promoter and his boss Sandhu was running the stadium, probably making a tidy profit. Now roles seemingly reversed it'll makes sense for Horton to get more rent from the Stox (Heaver+Sandhu) while the Bees fees would be far cheaper.

Horton is taking over the running of the stadium. "The key element is that we are now the sitting tenants, so there's a lot of decisions to be made and lots of planning to do. Quite a few went to Croatia even one who couldn't ride on medical grounds. Tai didn't. Tai had an opportunity to practice yesterday and didn't, as captain I feel he should be there setting the example. It's done now and nothing is going to change regarding being more professional as a squad.

He had a truly awful first ride it has to be said. Even his 3rd ride he didn't look great, shut off when he got close to Worrall. Seemed OK in his others. Said he had bike issues that night so maybe more about the bikes than carrying an injury which he has suffered with recently. Only he will know.

Because people in Sweden are not idiots. I haven't agreed with Tai's choices but to suggest he isn't British is ludicrous.

Even if it was voluntary you'd like to think the captain would be in attendance instead of getting a tattoo. Cook and S.Worrall rode practice and they've done more laps than anyone round there. It's also about team bonding, it's not great that some are doing all they can to gain a bit of an advantage while the captain hasn't got a similar mindset. It's certainly not guaranteed that Tai will score bucket loads against this class of opposition. Lambert should've been there too, it's not like it's an important event or anything.

Don't think he is too be honest. The ex Mayor of Rugby was an ex Bees rider though.

It's not just about it being practice though is it? It's also about team bonding. Tai is captain he should be at all GB get togethers. It wouldn't be so bad but he called for more squad practice sessions last year and since then hasn't bothered. The track shape it still the same the racing lines (several) will be the same, Tai is a very good rider but just because you're good isn't an excuse to miss a practice session in the week of a SWC final.

Tai is captain, he should be there for all team bonding sessions. It's one of the basic jobs as captain. Tai talks about doing everything possible to be WC and fair play to him for that but he isn't using the same ethos for the GB side. Set an example as captain and WC.

Woffinden was getting a tattoo apparently. Surely the captain of the side should be at any get together the squad has. Bomber went to Croatia even though he wasn't allowed to ride after a minor operation. No excuses at all to not be at practice today.

Tai insisted more testing was needed for GB to be more competitive. One was arranged in Croatia he didn't attend and he didn't attend today either.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head. Too add as a parent it's a great family sport, can bring them along (free at Brandon) knowing there won't be trouble and it's an easy sport for young children to engage in, they just pick a helmet colour each race. All 3 of mine absolutely love the sport, every motorbike they ever see is Bomber.

Plus he has said he has to pay to fix/replace things at the stadium that isn't part of the agreement he had.

Well it would be a very good parting gift if he was to pass it onto someone else.
