A nice day today and the first meeting since getting the good news of at least one extra season, should be a good crowd. Shame Leicester are weakened it might reduce the numbers that would usually travel to Brandon.

King is a bspa asset I believe. It's a good offer but they have to stick to the conditions this time. There has already been 2 meetings that had £10 admission for all so we can't expect a 3rd one.

Go tomorrow you get in for £10 on Monday. They've done this before then changed it to £10 for all.

Happy to stay you say, 3 of our riders have been with us 3 seasons, King 2 and KK has signed for us 3 times. You won't get that at many other clubs. Riders used to queue up to ride in Britain full stop but they don't now. Let's get back to the meeting all this can be in the 2017 thread 👍.

Lives in Coventry, main sponsor from Coventry, almost joined Coventry this season, at Coventry regularly for Bees and Storm meetings. Wouldn't surprise me to see Fricke at Brandon next year.

I'm hoping Fricke is a Bee next season. Should really get a comfortable win now KK is riding.

To be fair all clubs could do a lot better in terms of PR and social media. It's not hard to put up a couple of tweets a day promoting a meeting in a few days time. My club Coventry do a few tweets on the day occasionally but that's far too late. Got to be honest I don't mind waiting till the day before a meeting to see the line ups.

So it's the M69 derby this Friday at Brandon. Don't think KK will be available as the SEC is on Saturday in Latvia and it's not exactly the easiest place to get to. Would be PL 6Pt rider replacing him if he is missing. That would make the meeting very tight.

I paid £137 for two nights for me and my daughter at Premier Inn Manchester Central. I looked at prices just before the weekend and it was £100 more. Lots of people attending the comic con event probably boosted up prices too. Pretty much everything was within 15 minutes walk apart from the stadium but even then that was only a 6 minute journey on a train or 10-15 minutes on a bus. Cardiff wins hands down obviously but I've always struggled to get a hotel at reasonable price in Cardiff so always stop in Newport.

If Garrity was fit then we could have seriously pushed Wolves close but i think we will lose by a similar scoreline as the first meeting.
