Tai is very good at putting stuff up on social media to cause a reaction. Done it a few times now.
This is why I'm not convinced it's necessarily about team GB and the plans for the future.
We don't know what made Tai decide to quit yet. Tai's short tweet is unprofessional though, fans deserve to know why he's decide to do this and all his tweet/Facebook post has done is raise speculation.
I can't believe people are moaning about this. It's sport, to win you have to make tough decisions and this isn't even a tough decision. Sport teams strengthen during a season if they want to be successful, Wolves have done what's best for them and at the same time giving the sport a bit of a boost. The British schedule is now helping Tai get meetings, funny that.
Don't see an issue at all with Wolves signing Tai. It's happened in speedway for years and will continue to do so. There was a transfer deadline day last year, is there one this year? Also Tai has only missed one full season so his average shouldn't be reassessed.
On Friday Sarjeant, Bates, Garrity and Auty were collecting in the main stand at Brandon along with some of the stewards. Assume other riders were collecting to but said to hear that some don't help
Harris is probably one of the best 2nd heat leaders there is, King done ok 3rd heatleader but needs a number 4 to occasionally push King into 2nd string role. I'd keep if possible KK, Harris, King, Garrity and Bates.
Vice versa from Ford too 😆
KK has had 3-4 poor meetings but he's generally been excellent this season. If he rode last night we might have won the meeting.
To be honest i agree with the rule. He's riding in an event that is not recognised, if we start giving out facilities to that then what next. It's the fixture planning that needs to be right.
I've said before this is where a squad system would help, yes we wouldn't have a rider in the class of KK replacing him but would surely have a rider that would at least score points.
At least Horton didnt have a hissy fit about it when riders are missing and hasnt moaned at the host club for not changing the date onto an off race night. Think he knows it's an error on his part agreeing to this date.
A nice day today and the first meeting since getting the good news of at least one extra season, should be a good crowd. Shame Leicester are weakened it might reduce the numbers that would usually travel to Brandon.
