  1. Think a statement will be happening later.
  2. I said "it seems", didn't say for definite that he hasn't. Sandhu didn't even want to contemplate running the stadium.
  3. A local journalist has told me that the club say they haven't been locked out. Bizarre!
  4. He has but one of Sandhu's company run the stadium. Sandhu would pay the land owner a fee to run the stadium and then get rent and food and drink revenue from the Stox, Speedway and other events. Seems there is a bit of politics going on with the stadium. I even heard one of the turnstiles staff that stox wouldn't be running at Brandon next year. Horton maybe behind on rent but even if he is it shouldnt be a difficult thing to sort out considering Horton is due to run the stadium from 2017.
  5. I thought the club only 'take control' of the stadium a few hours before the meeting? If I was running a training school I would pay directly to whoever runs the stadium not to someone who is also renting. If Horton hasn't paid the rent then he's an idiot considering he taking charge of the venue next year which will help the club and probably himself money wise. I'm sure he would've had to put some sort of payment down to do that. Edit: Yep ride and slide do sub lease off the club. Will have to wait and see what the statement says.
  6. The ride and slide event was also not allowed to happen and that has no connection to the club.
  7. I'd prefer to wait and see what the relevant people say first. We don't know who hasn't paid the rent, could be Horton or it could be Sandhu who runs the stadium still. It could be the stadium owner? As I said we need answers, all we know for certain is that there is a lock out. Is ride and slide run by Horton does anyone know or someone independent because they were locked out too.
  8. Staff have been locked out of the stadium, Storm meeting cancelled. It's seem Horton hasn't paid the rent.
  9. Yeah he did! Forgot how to ride Brandon them years.
  10. Jonsson was reassessed to 9.03 when he went to Lakeside. Tai was missing 2 years so had a GENUINE average so couldnt be reassessed anyway. Tai average is an anomaly as he had a poor season the other year but if you see that riders like King, Masters, Kennett etc have bigger averages then it show how much of a farce it is that they think Lindback ability is on par with those riders.
  11. That's assuming that they take advantage of it and of course if they are 10 behind early. King was there for balance 😂
  12. Lindback would score more than Hans would've done in the final v Belle Vue that's for sure!
  13. Even Harris doesn't even know where he's going yet. If I was the Wolves promotion I would've been on the phone asap.
  14. I think King being involved in the PL playoffs also had a bearing on him taking the sky role and not guesting.
  15. There is no way an average from 9 years ago should have a bearing on a reassessment. I'm sure it was quite clearly stated that reassessments would be done on what the rider abilities are now not previous years. Absolute joke of a decision considering Jonsson had to start on a 9.
  16. I like that people are moaning about Lakeside using R/R yet don't come up with a rider suitable. There wasnt any that's why.
  17. I think Wolves can claw those 12 points back, the 2nd leg will go to the wire.
  18. You can guarantee that we will still see Bomber at Brandon often but as a fan. Roynon still attends when he's not riding elsewhere.
  19. We ride on Friday so we already lose a few because of the GPS if we rode on an off night for SEC meetings too we would never ride Fridays! Back up night is Monday but we can ride most nights if desperate.
  20. After the Kildemand farce it confirmed to me that Matt Ford can do whatever he like without repercussions. Nothing has changed my mind in that regard.
  21. Lakeside to take a small lead to Manchester. 47-43.
  22. If you have an Android device then Mobdro is an excellent app to get to watch live sport. As for the meeting, I think Wolves will keep it close enough for Poole to be worried for the 2nd leg. 50-40.
  23. His average is about 6.6. Considering King and Kennett are over 7 I'd say that's great value!
  24. That's true. Kylmakorpi could easily be in it but losing a 3rd heatleader doesn't have the same impact as losing a number 1. Having said that its difficult to get a number 1 who isn't in with a chance of being in the event unless you sign Holder or Hancock.
