  1. Of course it's a decision Kyle can make, Garrity made a decision to not to be in the draft, it didn't help Coventry this season but Coventry may well see the benefits next year.
  2. He doesnt but he has a stake in stox and obviously still runs stadium now so possibly used last week as a bargaining tool? Doesn't matter now it's sorted.
  3. That's true but at least they got there How Sexist 😂😂
  4. Superb news that they now agree a common goal. The anti Horton people making up stories that he has done a runner to suit their agenda should be ashamed on themselves. We move on to 2017! Up The Bees
  5. Oh don't get me wrong I don't think he's bothered. He was probably asked and he jumped at the chance to miss it. Yeah decent value, it may end up not the best line up in the world but we will still see some good riders on show.
  6. Probably to give Bomber one last meeting representing the Bees? Gates open at 5.30pm as there is an MDL grand final 2nd leg match between Coventry Vikings and and Buxton at 6pm, that's obviously included in the price.
  7. The bspa confirmed today it's still at Coventry on the 8th. Newman doesn't get the credit because of two reasons, 1 he is still an EDR rider and hasnt left that comfort zone. 2, his PL average is poor compared to some other EDR and the likes of Garrity. Get him in the top 5 for a season and if he performs then he will get the praise a bit like Garrity did this year.
  8. Don't think it is. The MDL final second leg Coventry Vikings V Buxton is before the ELRC at 6pm. Gates open at 5.30
  9. BSPA announce its still at Coventry. Coventry have King and Harris, Wolves Lindgren and Masters, Kings Lynn Iversen and Lambert, Swindon Morris and Tungate. Adults £20 Concessions £15 and kids Free! Decent pricing.
  10. The ELRC is still at Coventry, confirmed by the BSPA.
  11. Who knows, perhaps he can't for now or perhaps he's trying to sort it out or he's scared of telling us we are finished. The thing is rumours will continue until we get a statement. Cheers for that. Robin works for the club so you'd think he'd know (a bit more than us) what's going on. A little bit more reassuring that this article is talking about 2017.
  12. Even I'm tempted to make the trip up to Manchester for the 2nd leg. The final looks like it will be a cracking one.
  13. Also reading posts from Cov Speedway staff (and Bees fans) suggesting don't believe the rumours. This has gone on for a week now, I think the fans of the club and speedway fans in general need to know.
  14. Cov observer journalist (and Bees fan) has said his source suggests more bad news which puts the future of the club in doubt. I'm almost at the point of please just tell us one way or another, us fans don't deserve this constant worry of whether we are running or not.
  15. I hear they maybe some bad news coming.
  16. I think it's a big assumption that Lindback wouldn't have scored well, I gather he enjoyed Monmore in the past. It's a big ask for Newman and Ellis who may get extra rides to score much against that Wolves top 5, Wolves are strong there.
  17. There is a saying 'anyone but Poole' i think that says everything. Still don't want Wolves to win the final though!
  18. This tie is well and truly in the balance. Hope Lindback isn't too ill and is back for the final should Poole get there.
  19. I'm as sure as I can be. Why agree to do a deal with the stadium then just bugger off. He had a decent excuse to leave with having nowhere for the club to ride before he agreed a deal for Brandon. Wouldn't make any sense if he was going to leave.
  20. Why would the bspa ban him as a promoter it's not like he's done a runner, he has a dispute with Sandhu. Rugby Council think there is a lease beyond this year so I think that's quite telling. Pretty much sums up what I think this 'dispute' is about.
  21. The local plan for Brandon says about leases being in force is one reason it isn't on it so I guess they have been. The bspa can't decide who runs a stadium, that's not within their jurisdiction.
  22. No he shouldnt! If a rider is going to be reassessed it should be based on here and now, not something they did 9 years ago. You think it's fine that they should base an assessed average from 9 years ago yet you're moaning about Tai's average he achieved 2 years ago!
  23. You need someone to run the stadium. Sandhu pays the land owner a fee to run the stadium then the speedway and stox pay rent to Sandhu for use of that facility. Food and drink money will mainly go to Sandhu and probably lying some to the land owner. From next year Horton will be running it so he will pay the land owner a fee but in return will get rent from the Stox and food and drink plus what he makes from speedway.
