  1. Some EL clubs were cheaper for me and my daughter to attend than some PL clubs in 2016.
  2. Yep Klindt will be getting loads of offers!
  3. After what's gone on I wouldn't be sure he's even a Belle Vue asset.
  4. They did get a reduction but haven't for a few years now.
  5. This year it was 40.5 including the draft riders averages.
  6. Favourites absolutely but with what is being introduced for 2017 it wouldn't be a forgone conclusion as previously.
  7. Yep if he's in that there is no point in signing him.
  8. Good that he's having an input with his vast experience. Let's see who is on the list.
  9. Sign Fricke, Schlein and Bates and go from there.
  10. Glad you said that because I thought I was reading it all wrong with the figures people are posting
  11. Fully agree! Palm Toft is 7. He moved to I think Scunthorpe after Peterborough.
  12. Great choice. Much more professional.
  13. Yes Stock Cars will still run, Stock cars will now pay rent to Coventry Speedway.
  14. I don't want him either! Was just an example of the strength of the sides in 2017. Bjerre would be a good shout but I guess he'll be elsewhere.
  15. I can't actually get a side together where I think yeah that looks good, probably because we have nothing to put it against. It's certainly new territory for the promoters this year. Bates is a must and after what's gone on at Belle Vue then Fricke must be a possibility but he might be at number 1. Wouldn't mind Schlein coming back on a low average too. The number 7 rider is key, I can't see one that stands out unless we use more points than most other sides in that role. Andersen Fricke Schlein Woryna Berge Bates 4.4 ish rider. Not saying I want this but this will be the standard we are looking at for top level.
  16. If you multiply 1.4 to his EL average he's pretty much that anyway so he's on the right average.
  17. They have, I think Chris Louis mentioned something about it on a press release.
  18. You don't seriously think Milik will now be a 7 for 2017? Ellis average is probably about right and I'd take him at Coventry on that average.
  19. As I said before. If Horton doesn't give something back to those storm season ticket holders then quite rightly have a go as it isn't fair on those people. I hope something will be done but doubt we will hear about it until admission prices for 2017 are released. Perhaps a small statement saying they will be compensated in some way with details later on will help. Let's be honest it would not be many people so it should be simple and not very costly to sort. Shame that this overshadows the good news though because no matter what anyone says we would all be looking for something else to do on our Friday evenings in 2017 if it wasn't for Horton and Cllr Stokes.
  20. Bates is a cracking bargain at 5.02, his EL average was 4.76. Coventry must sign him asap.
  21. I'd hope there would be something for those who did purchase a Storm season ticket. They didn't get what they paid for at the end of the day.
  22. Been confirmed that the lease has been signed with Brandon Estates now also a sponsor.
  23. Simple to stop. Riders being replaced must be based of their starting average not their greensheet one.
  24. Read it quickly so not fully thought it through to be honest I think they've done . Two new teams at EL level is always good news for the top level. The promotion/relegation I'm willing to give a go as the difference between the leagues is closer than ever, I assume we will find out more detail about doubling up etc. Good news there seems to be a commitment about the Gerrard engines. Finally MORE fixtures, certainly at EL level. Its what fans wanted.
