Probably what happens when you have to appoint a new manager. To be honest I guess a deal or two has been done but they will drip feed announcements. Won't get many visitors on the website if they announce all the signings early 👍
More than likely but just asking if fans would want him with his average. I think unless a club has a solid 1-7 having a Holder at 1 can be beneficial.
Can't believe Matt Ford is that naive. Whatever 7 riders he picks most will not maintain their average. I think it's a mistake from him not having Holder at one.
They only reason Garrity won't be in the Bees side is if Jim Lynch doesn't want him or he won't fit into the limit.
What would Bees fans think about Holder at number 1? Just curious as he's available.
Garrity if he signs for Coventry will be 3rd heat leader. I think we will have two 9+ riders.
Why? His average was earned and even his EL average x 1.4 is near enough his PL average anyway. People need to stop looking at averages as they would've in previous years.
A huge majority of riders won't maintain their average. That's the whole point!
To be honest we need to have an open mind for 2017. The riders that I suppose are unpopular with fans like Bjerre, Batchelor and Watt are on averages that most clubs would be interested in. Same goes for riders lower down, clubs will be signing riders that the EL haven't seen yet.
Agreed. I can understand fans saying it's not an attractive average but that's his level now. Of course he will lose a bit of that average but so will the vast majority of riders. I'd be shocked if he didn't get a spot.
But that's because they had a poor season, Ellis was better than them last season.
His average is right, he achieved it mainly as a 2nd string. The likes of Garrity and Worrall are way over 8 so it's likely Ellis would've averaged between 7-8 in the PL anyway. Team could get him in as a 2nd string if they build there team right.
Yeah definitely poor away from home (he did have some excellent meetings away) but the league will be weaker. Not sure he'll come back anyway to be honest.
His home form actually improved from the opening few meetings where his scores were poor. The last few home meetings he scored 7+1 7+1 3 12 8+1 and 5 from only 3 rides, not too bad.
Confirmed that it's minimum of two Brits per team (both leagues) and the SGB Premiership can have 2 point riders. Josh Bailey who didn't acheive a 3 point average will start on whatever average he actually got in 2016.
