I really don't think my Brandon Estates getting the police involved has anything to do with Horton. The electrics at the stadium had to be made safe as it was in a right state. Not sure who hired the elctricians but I guess Brandon Estates would've been liable had a trespasser got injured from the site being unsafe for whatever reason.

Fans are getting sick of the are we/are we not riding debate week after week. Just give us a decision one way or another so we can can either get ready to support the team or move on. It's very tedious now.
-
I don't trust either to be honest. It's probably had the opposite effect, can't see Sandhu being willing spending the money if the police are in fact involved.
-
I agree they could easily wait for a month and see if things are replaced but Of course there could be other areas of the stadium that are also damaged/taken which doesn't belong to Sandhu. I'm struggling to see how this situation now regarding Brandon Estates involving the police (if true) is Hortons fault? Brandon Estates wouldn't want him signing a deal with Sandhu if they have concerns over the state of the site. They all need their heads banging together. Also pretty much confirms Sandhu isn't part of Brandon Estates unless it's an elaborate plan!

Brandon estates have confirmed the lease has been signed by Horton. I get the impression Horton has been told by Brandon Estates to hold off signing the deal with Sandhu as they wanted to inspect the site to see what state it is in. Now they seem to be getting the police involved I severely doubt any deal will be signed with Sandhu and that will unfortunately mean no motor racing at Brandon.

It would go to the lease holders and to the catering firm that supplies the food and beverages. The council may indeed own the actual site but as they are not running the facility they won't get the money that comes from events there.

I really don't think he would've missed the GP practice when he was a wild card to ride for Coventry if he wasn't being paid !
-
That's exactly as it was left when the deal was done. Weve had no pictures for 10 days then someone comes along with a 5 second video saying stuff is still being taken yet no workmen, diggers or anything being on site. Its just scaremongering from that individual. I went in the week and it was exactly the same. Nothing has been taken from the site and all the other floodlights pylons are still up apart from 3 which were next to where they should be on the 3-4 bend. Electricians have been in and made the site safe that's it. I believe the electricians have a contract there till March.

They did say the previous day that there would not be a statement as the clubs position has never changed and that they were always intending to run. I agree that a short statement saying glad it's all been sorted should have been released.
-
Yep I agree that around 4th will be where we likely to finish at this stage

You conveniently forget to mention that Kenneth Bjerre will likely be number 1 by May even though he is 3rd in our averages at the minute. Coventry's top 3 is just better than Somerset. Tungate at 9.03 is far too high. Also we don't have a rider as bad as Graversen, the suggestion he's on par with Sarj is laughable. Allen seems to have a bit of talent about him but will likely struggle early at the away tracks, he hasn't ridden many in this division.
-
Bjerre and King will average at least high 8s. Where we will be more stronger than anybody is at reserve, whoever will be at reserve (Kerr, Sarj, Bates) will consistently take points off the oppositions top 5 especially at Brandon.

As costs at the top level now should be much lower plus adding the the Sky money on top I guess moving up could prove more lucrative for Championship clubs.

Motorcycle live is a brilliant way to promote. It's a shame other clubs and the bspa don't get involved with it. I agree with Matt also and it would be the ideal way to do it if at all possible.

Not so easy for some, Coventry in particular!. Bees have to compete for article space with CCFC ( and shambles that goes with them), Wasps, Cov Rugby, Cov Blaze, Cov Bears and now Wasps Netball that attracted a crowd of 4,500 the other day. Add to that we've had Snooker, Rugby League internationals and even Davis Cup tennis in recent times. This is probably the reason why we announce riders mainly on a Saturday morning, all the Rugby and Football previews are done Friday! Poole's location certainly helps them as apart from the 2 PL football clubs I'm not sure there is much else sporting wise, especially at the levels Coventry based clubs play at. Having said that Coventry Telegraph do an excellent job previewing and reporting our meetings.

Always been one of the highest earners in the EL.

I gather electricians have been working at the stadium in the last few days. Agree. I said wait till all are named and we won't look so average. I actually think we have a decent side now.
-
Get used to it.
-
Brandon Estates statement saying lease was signed was released November 3rd so I guess then.
-
Yeah Sandhu lease ended last week and Hortons starts January 1st so officially neither has the keys.
-
Lasse Bjerre is probably a Rick Frost asset, I guess they've been transfered to Poole.

Every financial institution says the same, OAPS are better off these days and even more so in the future. To be honest I don't mind OAPS having a slight reduction by a quid or so. Families in the past few years have had to absorb price increases so it was nice to take all my kids (3 of them) to Brandon for £17 last season. If I had to pay prices that Somerset have set for example they'd only come occasionally.
-
Not on this issue 😂
-
No doubt for every age group the price will go up to compensate the price drop for OAPs considering the moaning from some last year.
