Could easily be Bees are running and riding Friday so Leicester remain Saturday so can't put him in. We will have to see.

That makes sense. If Bees don't run I doubt Leicester would want all 7 riders.

Sounds like he's lost his place to a foreign rider from his status. Leicester might just announce their team? We will have to wait and see! I have my doubts about Horton running the club if we do run.

We have until tomorrow evening not today Edited to add that Buster is having his Q&A at lunchtime tomorrow so perhaps it will be tonight, tomorrow morning or even the start of the Q&A we will hear something.

Not that I know for certain. I get told the odd rumour and to me it seems there is hope, I thought it was the end the other day so anything is better than that. Of course it can still go either way, I'm not exactly confident of a positive result but if some are still talking then there must be a will to sort it out. I spent many early mornings before my paper round checking the results. Kids have it easy these days 😂

Yep thats correct they own the dates and can run elsewhere hence that's why I've been saying they won't lose out. It seems they are in negotiations though so we'll have to wait and see.

Seems to me they want Horton out of the way which is now likely to happen. Will they run speedway with Horton out of the way or just run Stox if they get the stadium back in working order? Not sure that'll be viable?

Do we know for certain the police are actually involved? I wouldn't be surprised if they wasnt.

Far more to it than one man. Unfortunately the other 2 parties involved (both might be the same people) are both likely to gain financially from houses on the site.

Fixtures are due to be released at the end of the month, that hasn't changed.

Just says he hasn't signed the lease which wasn't a surprise. Maybe that's what they wanted. Could be Sandhu coming in... What I don't get is that Horton hasn't signed the lease so why hasnt Sandhu tried to negotiate one instead? He and Heaver already said they would pay for everything anyway so why not be the leaseholder?

He was going to pay for it to run yet didn't want to be the name on the lease. I find that very strange!

I don't blame him for not signing the lease. It would be a huge gamble from him to trust that things would be replaced. Local journalist thinks the club have been treated abysmally. His words.

Nigel Pearson tweeted about the Coventry Telegraph article "Not the full facts of the current situation, it's not over".

It's something I've been thinking about. I do sometimes get the impression this is being done to get Horton out of the way.

I'd obviously go the other way round but you're right, we cannot lose either club.

That's about it. Horton obviously doesn't have funds to fix it and signing a lease would be a huge risk if the track, lighting etc isn't at the standard required. Sandhu can of course be owner of the Bees and not be promoter. He can get someone in to do that job. I wonder if Sandhu and Buster get on?

As I said the other day no one would take on the lease with the stadium as it is. It's not fit for purpose. Sandhu now has the opportunity if he's willing.

Agree entirely. Some seem to think Sandhu will replace it all, I doubt that very much. Just need track and floodlights the rest can wait. Just get in some portable bars (hire some from Wasps?) and I'm sure there are people with burger vans more than willing to get some extra trade.

Low crowd for the first meeting then 😂. I've had my doubts about Sandhu since this all started but it seems there is a will from him to stay at Brandon for whatever reason. Very much doubt we will get seats and bar areas back though.
