Yep I'm just off Ansty Road so I'm the right side too, usually takes 30 mins to get to Leicester. Coach travel can't be more than a fiver can it? I agree they need to get this spot on but it can be done. That's for the stadium owner to decide. I believe there is a car event at Brandon due on 18th March so I think that's the date they would ideally want it all sorted. Stox need 2 months notice for a change of venue so we will probably know by early February whether we will be at Brandon in April. Stox first meeting is scheduled for April 1st (ironically)

Yep time is an issue for me too, not all the time mind. When I work days I work till 6.20pm it doesn't give me enough time to get home, shower and get to Leicester. Trust me I need to shower after a shift where I work! I will have to ask for a little leeway from work. Maybe Saturday would be better suited for Bees fans buy obviously Leicester should get the choice. Maybe a slightly later start time? 7.45-8? This is the way I've been looking at it since it was first said it could be a possibility. A Wasps fan told me today that 2 years after moving to Coventry he was delighted he still has a club to support even though he was dead against the move originally. Now he doesn't miss a game. I know some will struggle to attend but I hope the club will help as much as possible and I'm going to try and do my bit if I can.

Agree with this. I thank the Bees 1-7 for sticking with the club. Fans appreciate that.

That must be what they are working towards. Should've been Sandhu from the beginning but differences stopped that it seems.

It would seem Sandhu is the backer. Also club have said they will this week price up coach travel for fans. The other week most said they wouldn't go to Leicester but now the news has broke some have seemed to change their stance a little. It will need help from everyone to make it work and it won't be easy. For example we may have a spare seat or two in the car for some meetings so my Dad could give someone a lift. Fans can work together on this.

Incorrect. The actions of Brandon Estates meant he took his stuff. If Horton did sign the lease it wouldn't have made any difference at that time.

Who knows! If Sandhu is as some believe part funding this then I guess there must be a chance of a return. Also if Sandhu is actually serious about a new stadium then he may see it as important that Bees continue running. Stox once a month with 5,000+ crowds is all well and good but a new stadium will need regular use that speedway provides.

I've just woken up after watching the boxing from last night and seen this news. I'm am delighted that we are running. It does sound to me that Sandhu is at the very least part funding this venture until Brandon can get back in a fit state. Also good news we seem to be keeping our 1-7, some rate it some don't. I'm just absolutely buzzing we have a chance to keep going. Hopefully they will do everything possible to help fans get there, putting on coaches etc. Up The Bees!!

I see it as all this talking is for a resolution to race at Brandon at some point during the season. A share at Leicester would be easy to arrange I think.

I think for clubs that rent their stadium the stadium owners probably insist on an interval to make some food and drink money.

I think it's highly likely that Horton will take over at Leicester. Leicester Lions will be Leicester Lions though and I don't think the Leicester line up will be all the Bees 1-7. This is probably why there is a chance of Coventry Bees at least starting the season at Leicester.

Agree with the Coventry Blaze social media output. Also tomorrow evening my family are attending the Blaze game as my kids school got an offer from Blaze. As HertsRacer said they were Barons then went to Blaze then the franchise moved to Coventry when the ice rink was built. Used to watch Barons quite a bit, I remember Barons losing 21-3 to Guildford!

Coventry Bees hasn't really connected to the City in a while. Something I hope changes if by some miracle we do remain at Brandon.

Stox are not definitely running. The fixtures can be moved to other venues. The Stox promotion own the dates, the can race them at any track.

So why is this situation Hortons fault as you claimed? He hasn't the finance to pay 200k+ for Sandhu's fixture and fittings and why would he pay for it when Brandon Estates says it's their fixture and fittings and not Sandhu's?

No one knows for certain but doesn't mean people can't base opinions what we do know and what the individuals have or have not done during this debacle. Sandhu must've agreed a new lease once the stadium was sold although I don't remember a press release about it. I only remember the 10 year lease because it was on my timehop app.

I have no idea why but you'd have to think about why Sandhu has never even tried to get one. Doesn't make sense to me he's more than willing to pay for everything yet not be leaseholder. I can understand the silence in regard negotiations and what it entails but we could have more updates as in if things are progressing etc. We seems to get more info from CWR than anywhere else at the minute. Even if Horton did sign the lease i don't think anything would be any different.

How exactly? He isn't the stadium owner, he isn't the one who took stuff out, he isn't the one who sold the site in the first place. He went out and negotiated a lease, did Sandhu? Why isn't Sandhu negotiating a lease, why didn't Sandhu negotiate a lease in the first place despite saying he would pay for everything? Brandon Estates won't let Sandhu on the site to replace things, why? Is it a grudge? Do they have 'history'? Horton didn't sign the lease but you can understand why especially as Brandon needed Sandhu's funds to run. Horton has his faults but in this instance he is the last person to blame out of the 3 parties. If Brandon Estates and Sandhu didn't have a fued would we be in this situation? No. Unfortunately your incorrect. Brandon Estates never wanted Sandhu to operate beyond 2016. This is why Horton had to go out and get a lease instead of Sandhu extending the lease he had. If he was to pay for it all why wouldn't he be the leaseholder? This issue has been ongoing before 2016
