  1. But it's Brandon Estates that's the problem not Sandhu and/or Horton. As it stands they won't let Sandhu replace what was taken. Horton and Sandhu are seemingly both involved with running the Bees at Leicester at a probable loss, if it was upto them (let's put rumours of Sandhu being Brandon Estates to one side for now) they'd be at Brandon by now.
  2. It wouldn't take long to get the track and the safety aspects into shape. Sandhu has the stuff needed just needs permission to put it back then we shall he if he does. It seems they are in talks so things are happening behind the scenes. They've finally learned not to negotiate by going to the press and spinning the situation to suit them which in my opinion had a detrimental effect on the whole affair.
  3. I think one is maybe due next week about the Stox intentions.
  4. With Sandhu seemingly involved with helping us at Leicester it does give me a bit of hope, why would he otherwise? It's still unlikely though at this stage.
  5. U16s should remain free as in 2016 especially in the situation we find ourselves in.
  6. What promises have been made? It's quite clear that no one will be allowed to reinstate facilties at Brandon until Brandon Estates says so. All that's been said is we will start the season at Leicester and hope for a return to Brandon soon. No one has said anything else. Unfortunately that's something between two parties who do not own Coventry Speedway which meant the Bees has had to move elsewhere to secure their short term future.
  7. Yes that is what I meant. As he rode less than two years ago he shouldnt have his average reassessed just x 1.4 his actual average.
  8. When did Milik last ride here 2015? It would be similar to Tai and the debate about his average so don't see the need for it to change.
  9. I don't think anyone is expecting whatever transport is put on to be free.
  10. Fair play. We will possibly have spare seats in my dads car, will depend on if my children are going. I don't take them every meeting but I will update nearer the season start. Aldermans Green, Bell Green, Wyken Croft and Ansty Road would be the way we go to get on M69 so if you live along these areas we can possibly help out on occasions.
  11. Championship match for £16? It was about £22 for League one footy at the Ricoh! I've been to 2 away games and I don't think I've paid less that £25. I agree with Wasps prices, brilliant. You have a choice, cheap seats £15 U10s free and if you want to splash out you can do.
  12. Kids should be free at all tracks and 16-18 year old £5 max. Speedway is one of the cheaper sports now days but I do think they could do better in having some differing offers to get fans in.
  13. Speedway GB tweets suggest otherwise. Someone said Buster was Leicester and Speedway GB response to that question is "was". It could be entirely possible (although unlikely) that a return to Brandon could happen before the season start. Agreeing to ride at Leicester gives a little leeway.
  14. Well we all know what the alternative is and I can't believe anyone thinks that's what should happen.
  15. Yep I'm just off Ansty Road so I'm the right side too, usually takes 30 mins to get to Leicester. Coach travel can't be more than a fiver can it? I agree they need to get this spot on but it can be done. That's for the stadium owner to decide. I believe there is a car event at Brandon due on 18th March so I think that's the date they would ideally want it all sorted. Stox need 2 months notice for a change of venue so we will probably know by early February whether we will be at Brandon in April. Stox first meeting is scheduled for April 1st (ironically)
  16. Yep time is an issue for me too, not all the time mind. When I work days I work till 6.20pm it doesn't give me enough time to get home, shower and get to Leicester. Trust me I need to shower after a shift where I work! I will have to ask for a little leeway from work. Maybe Saturday would be better suited for Bees fans buy obviously Leicester should get the choice. Maybe a slightly later start time? 7.45-8? This is the way I've been looking at it since it was first said it could be a possibility. A Wasps fan told me today that 2 years after moving to Coventry he was delighted he still has a club to support even though he was dead against the move originally. Now he doesn't miss a game. I know some will struggle to attend but I hope the club will help as much as possible and I'm going to try and do my bit if I can.
  17. Agree with this. I thank the Bees 1-7 for sticking with the club. Fans appreciate that.
  18. That must be what they are working towards. Should've been Sandhu from the beginning but differences stopped that it seems.
  19. It would seem Sandhu is the backer. Also club have said they will this week price up coach travel for fans. The other week most said they wouldn't go to Leicester but now the news has broke some have seemed to change their stance a little. It will need help from everyone to make it work and it won't be easy. For example we may have a spare seat or two in the car for some meetings so my Dad could give someone a lift. Fans can work together on this.
  20. Thought I was obvious we would start the season at Leicester when Hemsley joined the Save cov Speedway group.
  21. Wouldn't be surprised if that never happened. At least we can talk about actual speedway now!
  22. Incorrect. The actions of Brandon Estates meant he took his stuff. If Horton did sign the lease it wouldn't have made any difference at that time.
  23. Who knows! If Sandhu is as some believe part funding this then I guess there must be a chance of a return. Also if Sandhu is actually serious about a new stadium then he may see it as important that Bees continue running. Stox once a month with 5,000+ crowds is all well and good but a new stadium will need regular use that speedway provides.
