  1. Can you pay on the day or would you advise buying tickets in advance? Already got my hotel booked and looking forward to it!
  2. Not to bothered as we wouldnt use him this season anyway. Is his brother following him to Poole to replace Kling?
  3. For me it has to be, 1, Harris 2, Woffinden 3, Nicholls 4, Barker I think Barker deserves his place after last year's performance.
  4. Harris and Woffinden are definites, the final two places will be between Kennett, Nicholls, Barker and Richardson if he wants to ride for GB.
  5. Pontus Aspegren has tweeted that he will be at Coventry tonight, didnt say whether he was riding or not.
  6. He will be available next week but yeah i agree it's a worry. Looking forward to this im going to say Bomber will win it after sneaking into the semi's.
  7. Kenni Larsen has been advised to rest an old injury, GP star Jason Bunyan replaces him
  8. Glad Adam seems to be ok, i was worried when he called over the paramedics. Good meeting on the whole, Bomber was worth the admission on his own!
  9. Harris, Nicholls and Kennett are already in it and i wouldnt be surprised if Barker was involved.
  10. Nothing confirmed from Coventry but that would be brilliant!!
  11. Sky sports news did a report about the Olympic stadium a few months back and in that report it stated they have money set aside for changes to the stadium when they decide what to do with it, a roof was mentioned in the report. I can see advantages for a gp in London but with Cardiff having a roof has to be the biggest factor especially the cost of the whole event.
  12. Gp's for me! Its what got me back into speedway after the birth of my daughter. The qualifying does need a tweak but on the whole it does get a true world champion. Should be no more than 14 gp's have 3 in the winter in Usa, Australia and NZ and the other 11 during the European season but please try and spread them around and not have 3 in Poland, 2 is enough!
  13. I would support Coventry having a NL side, we could easily run on gp weekends. Obviously admission would have to be cheaper but im sure there would be a half decent crowd on a friday night.
  14. So the locals dont have a right to support a well known rider in NZ who does a lot for NZ speedway just because some speedway snobs think he is rubbish, get over yourself. All gps should have a local rider at least as wildcard if it's possible, yes they might get 00000 but that's not really the issue. If speedway is serious about expanding than this sort of thing needs to happen.
  15. Does anyone seriously think it was going to be a top Euorpean performer? To send out there equipment to NZ for one meeting which in the grand scheme of things wont mean too much to them. The logistics of it meant that i thought it would be an Aussie or someone who rides in NZ regulary ie Bunyan (6 times NZ champ) or Ricky Wells who was born there i think. Bunyan is well known for speedway in NZ so not the worst pick for tickets sales to the locals!
  16. Reading things like this gets me angry with the whole set up of speedway in this country. Surely the BSPA should be helping young talented rider's like Nathan getting sponsership deals especially as he is u-16 champ. Also im disappointed in the bigger clubs in the country ie Coventry and Poole not running an NL set up, surely they could easily afford it and then youngsters would have the benefits of sponsership these 2 clubs provide. I would certainly go and watch NL speedway at Coventry.
  17. It's the British schedule more than anything else which stops all the stars riding over here. What do the public want to see, Hancock or Klindt for example. Promotions should be applauded for trying to bring in stars for individual meetings considering it may be the only chance to see them live.
