  1. Plenty of sports where they are chosen like F1 for example. With Bomber he can certainly do it but he is so far behind the world best in sponsership, i think we can all see his set up isnt good enough.
  2. My missus who is driving didnt fancy driving there and back in one day. We are leaving at 9 and hope to get to Cardiif by 12-1 ish and enjoy the day and the pubs!
  3. How about having an extra one in Britain for a year or two and see if the crowds hold up at Cardiff? Obviously have it at a smaller venue like Coventry or maybe King's Lynn who do a great job for the SWC. Countries like Germany, Austria, Russia and of course USA and Australia should really have GP's if the organisers want a wider audience.
  4. Me, my girlfriend and my daughter are stopping in Newport one night for £60. Train for the three of us is about£10, better than paying £100+ in Cardiff. Ticket sales look ok to me if you look on ticketmaster.
  5. I dont think they decide on where to host a SWC based on the race track. It would be based more on facilities and Coventry is certainly the best in Britain and could get 12,000+ in there!
  6. I havent had mine either but i only ordered them 2 weeks ago.
  7. To be honest if there wasnt a regular GB rider in the series i would think twice about going to Cardiff, it's a very expensive weekend just to cheer on a wildcard. Your never know Bomber might have a blinding last few GP's lol.
  8. I think they will pick Tai Woffinden instead of Harris as the token Brit as well as Hampel and Ward just depends who comes through the challenge to decide the last pick.
  9. Once youve seen one dance act then youve seen them all. Pre entertainment does not interested me at all, why would i want to get into the stadium early and pay more for my drinks.
  10. Tai has only had 1 complete Gp and 1 reserve ride at Cardiff where he beat Crump to 2nd (i think). If Tai makes it to Cardiff i would bet on him making the Semi's.
  11. Even though im a bees fan id love to see Tai Woffinden at the Millenium stadium against the big boys. He would be our best bet as a wildcard.
  12. I wouldnt be surprised if Adam Roynon made the semi's, he is flying at the moment and loves Monmore.
  13. Next year in the Czech Rep, really?? Let's hope the hosts are not seeded into the final that would make it a mockery. Why not have the final in Britain, Coventry could certainly host it along with a few others. Also the joker HAS to go i have never liked it and last night was a bit of a joke.
  14. I would have come to this but i have Olympic footy tickets for that day. Well done Matt Ford for putting this match on, should be a cracker!
  15. Surely its time to give the the younger lads a chance. We have two riders in Bomber and Tai who will always do a good job in the SWC but we need a couple more who just have to be solid. I'd Give Auty a go next year and maybe Barker who did a decent job in the race off last year. Put the likes of Roynon and Worrall into the squad for experience and hopefully they can be given a go in a couple of years.
  16. For me the Danes are the favourites but i can see GB getting close to them and Poland. Should be a cracking meeting!
  17. My tickets arrived on Wednesday, i was getting concerned as im going Mablethorpe for the weekend!
  18. Going on what Roynon has done for Coventry in the last few weeks i wouldnt be at all surprised if he got through comfortably, he is on form at the moment.
  19. Is it me or does the Rye House qualifier look the tougher of the two?
  20. Scott should be riding at Peterborough on Thursday so he should be fit, i would bet Barker would be named to replace Tai if he isnt fit
  21. King and Barker have a great chance to make the GP challenge looking at the draw!
  22. Really?? Apart from Greg they havent got much else, you shouldnt expect to much from Hammill. I think GB have picked the right 4 riders and if Woffinden is fit the they can push Australia at King's Lynn, is Darcy Ward going to be fit?
  23. Poole are not doing anything wrong in this instance but the way they got Miedzinski in the first place is wrong.
  24. Intending to stand anyway, thanks for the reply. Always looks like a good crowd at KL for the WC, been a long time since ive been there.
