We have to many assets and looks like the asset system could be collapsing. Good business sense dont you think?
Why keep the likes of Wells and Schlein as assets when they wont ride for the Bees again?
The one thing that really annoyed me about the commentator was why did he feel the need to make a comment everytime a rider introduced themselves before a heat?
Could be 2 reasons. 1, that the deal with Eurosport was not yet announced as it went to print or 2, the SGP is on thr Friday page as it starts at 3am. My newspaper shows it like that.
I liked the old where a team was 6 behind bought in the number one rider replacing someone off form. Im sure most people attending would like to see the likes of Holder 6 times in one meeting. Dont see many 18pt maximums anymore.
Luckily the SWC is a four per team event in which we can be competitive but i agree on the world stage it would be average as a 7 man side. It looks a slightly stronger side than Swindon though and lets be honest its only 7 brits who are available on the day.
Im convinced Tai will do well on the temporary tracks like Cardiff and Copenhagen it will just depend on the bigger tracks, i hope the new engine tuner will help with that though.
No club should charge for u11's i think thats a disgrace! I would have never introduced my daughter to the sport if i had to pay for her. I think she will now be a fan for life.
Our top end strength should see us through and maybe too strong at reserve too. If the Brandonapolis is called off i shall make this meeting instead.
He is riding at Swindon today and at the Brandonapolis tomorrow so he is in the UK!
There are some speedway snobs on this thread. All riders named are EL riders, most are heatleaders and £20 for 22 races is the going rate looking at similar meetings. With the added entertainment im hoping for a good night, hopefully the weather holds off!
Is that the riding order then Neil?
My daughter is now 11 and between races she always tries to get autographs from riders, more interaction between riders and younger fans is key. I see Coventry will have a fun bus for younger kids at a few meetings which is good to see.
Doesnt take a lot to work out that originally Superbikes were to be shown at that time but now replaced with LIVE SPEEDWAY which starts at 3am on 23rd March which shock horror is the same time and date as the NZ GP.
Cant wait for the GPS to start its the best 15 we have had.
