Ljungs average is a bargain especially as he will be a 2nd string, he is a 7 pt man in all honesty. He is much better since his last stint in Britain.
-
On the whole the reserve pairings are not that far apart strength wise and the same with the completed top 5's. I dont think anyone has had a rough deal, assets should be able to ride for their parent club given the chance.
-
Seems like it depends on you support. Coventry, Belle Vue and Kings Lynn fans seem upbeat about the changes for the season ahead. I have to say im looking forward to 2014 more than previous seasons, maybe not seeing my football club (ccfc) every week has a small bearing on that!
-
Leicester look a solid side, its going to be difficult to predict the EL for 2014.
-
I wonder if they wll announce the signing of Tai when Sky announce the new TV deal? Would be good publicity for everyone.
-
I think Gavan is right about Poles and there performance at away tracks. Thats why I like the side Coventry have built, all pretty much experienced at all away tracks and should collect solid points often enough for Coventry to get away league points. I seen Janowski at Brandon in 2013 and he was awful, he certainly has the talent to average 8+ but he needs to crack the smaller away tracks (and coventry) before being considered anything above a 3rd heat leader in Britain.

I've just accepted that Havvy will be the manager and if that does change it will be a bonus. He has had a year in the job so no excuses from him now and he has to get it into his head he is Coventry Bees manager. That should be his priority not what goes on at Poole.
-
I was saying throughout 2013 Coventry should of signed him. On that average he is a bargain and will clean up as a 2nd string.
-
Id suggest the big crowd for Cov v Poole is because of the recent history more than the riders on show.
-
The thing with Kennett is he always seems to start the season off well but the declines as the season goes on. Not to bad for Brum if he will be a 2nd string.
-
Schlein is a heat leader no doubt about that. I'd say it may take a bit of time for Lambert to fully get to grips with EL racing but results abroad suggests he will beat heat leaders now and again. As for Porsing I don't know to much about him so it wouldn't be right for me to comment. I agree the way teams are shaping up it looks like it might be a tight EL next year.
-
Think this side will take time to get going but will improve as the season goes on. Play off certs for me, the best top 5 with the 2nd best reserve pairing.
-
I just hope people give Lambert time, he may struggle initially but as the season goes on I'm sure he will improve. Could be a massive plus come play off time.
-
Sundstrom or Larsen should be the riders Wolves should be looking to sign to back up Tai.
-
Right lets back to Bees winning the EL title in 2014!
-
Im not disputing that, just pointed out most on this forum dismissed Tai chances and looked what happened. Harris is next in line as per the rules listed in Neil Watsons post.
-
I think we all know Tai is on another level to Bomber now. I hope Bombers inclusion in the gps will enhance his league form.
-
I assume Sarjeant, Greenwood, Crang and Shanes will be named in the side.
-
If you read the GP thread before the start of last season most of the posters had Tai to finish last and moaning that he only got in because he was British and didnt deserve to be in the line up. He obviously proved them wrong.
-
Most people had Tai to finish 15th and look what happened. I dont think Bomber will get into the top 8 or anything but I think he can do better than some people suggest. Its been a while since ive looked forward to a season as much as this one.
-
All the top 5 could take a ride, im not concerned with that too much unless Bomber is on form.
-
Harris took his chance in the GP challenge and thats a fact although I do agree how he got to ride in the meeting is a bit 'lucky'.
-
What points have Eastbourne got left? Looks to me like the league could well be tight in 2014.
-
Harris shouldnt miss any home meetings as the Storm ride on the Friday of GP weekends but depends if we will have away meetings planned. It wont be a problem im more concerned about Hans doing the GP and SEC qualifiers.
-
Was on FIM website but was then removed. I'd guess it would be Harris taking Gollobs place as he is first reserve.
