  1. Are you serious? Sabotage? Stop being over dramatic. Havvy will get the crowd and a good line up so will the ERC.
  2. I guess it depends how the Bspa want to set the meeting up. Id guess it would be the top averaged rider from each team then 6 guests? If thats the case I think Darcy will have to ride in it or get some sort of fine/ban
  3. If the ERC is an open field then its even more reason to think both meetings can happen on the same night. Im not a fan of the idea that guest riders can be in the event but it does solve the issue of rider availability.
  4. Darcy Ward tweeted that the ERC is open to non EL riders, even for reason to think both meeings can happen on the same day.
  5. This is why I said originally both meetings could easily go ahead on that date. Havvy already has Lindgren and Vaculik signed up, add to that a few GP riders, (Holder, Hancock, Jonsson) and the line up would be very good and likewise the ERC. A bit of communication between the two organisers could sort this out. Too much anger for the ERC to run on that date now though.
  6. Would be best to move the date to perhaps the Monday before if possible, ERC should be a standout event but it may end up being the last if it goes ahead on the same date. Too much anger around for it to happen.
  7. Spot on. This has probably worked in Havvys favour to be honest, look at the publicity its getting. No posts on this thread since end of November before today despite riders being named for example They did didnt they then dropped it. I wouldve said it was good for British Speedway that they will show it but all this has put a dampener on it.
  8. It would be though, its at Poole on a friday night. Many are not in a position to travel there for that time, me included.
  9. Sky want to broadcast the meeting on that particular date, the BSPA would be crazy to say no. We had plenty complaining that Sky didnt show the event in the past, I wonder what fans, riders and sponsors wouldve said had the BSPA turned down Sky showing it. Its unfortunate but I dont see how both meetings cant be successful.
  10. I hope they are on seperate days but it really doesnt need to be an issue, both events will attract good crowds with good line ups for both.
  11. Plenty of riders for both events im sure. If he can attract Vaculik he can attract others.
  12. I dont see how, his tesimonial would more than likely be attended by Poole fans mostly, not the easiest place to get to on a Friday night for most. Only Ward and Cook would ride in the ERC from the riders named so far think. May hinder the attendence a little but not a lot in my opinion.
  13. Now on Friday 21st March live on Sky Sports. No excuses for any rider to miss it unless injured of course.
  14. It was rumoured my club Coventry were going to move there last summer and it got me thinking about a speedway track there. Modifications would be needed to fit a track in though.
  15. After Sky lost the Champions League they need all the sports they can get.
  16. Has to be good news, just need the BSPA to take advantage of the profile Sky give speedway!
  17. Ive no doubt Fisher and Gustafsson will as their averages are close to Hansen and Morris anyway. If anything it will be the likes of Howarth and Grajczonek with the bigger increase but for me thats because their careers are on the up more than their actual programmed rides. Heat leaders on the other hand is a different matter, they will have more difficult rides so can see most drop their average.
  18. Thought that might be the case, the 2nd string heats will no doubt be similar as previous years, yes I know reserves are weaker but I dont see it making a huge difference to 2nd strings averages overall.
  19. I thought Tai did it last winter but wasnt 100% sure, I dont think he got anywhere near as much stick!
  20. I think that is more in hope than expectation to be honest.
  21. I like the idea but cost would be the major issue. Brandon would be big enough to host if its to be in Britain. Also if you add Pawlicki to the Poole side named at the beginning of the thread they would be competitive.
  22. I dont see an issue with it, fans sponsor riders all the time and this is just an easier way of doing it.
  23. I agree, Steve Worrall will do well at reserve.
