Bees are 9/1 with William Hill to win the Elite League, Kings Lynn and Poole joint favourites at 9/4. Thats very short for me especially for Poole.

Hansen is certainly making the right noises for us fans. Basically saying he loves the club already and it was his dream to ride for the Bees. He will certainly be very good at Brandon.

Thanks for that I was just about to ask how it went. Fisher will get it right by the time the season starts he is too experienced not to. Others have also said Garrity and Sarjeant were on the pace, they are a big reason why I think we will make the play offs this year. I think Hansen will surprise a few this year, he will certainly get the scores at Brandon. Its a big year for Howarth and the one where I think he will make the next step up but it might take him a little bit of time to get used to Brandon. Hans will be decent as our top averaged rider and can Harris be decent back up, we know he is capable and is due a decent season. Looking forward to seeing this team in action, looks exciting in terms of racers and actual potential for the season ahead.

Thats true I guess most of us only heard about it through word of mouth. I was told by a friend it was available till 5pm. Nothing from the bspa about this deal, didnt they release a statement the other day about sky selling tickets? Why not mention it then and state it would be available for 24 hours only?

So let's have some predictions, where do you think we will finish? I'm going to say 3rd, solid top 5 and in my opinion the best reserve pairing. Looking forward to watching this side this season.

Do we actually know its Sandhu that's somehow rebought the site? Apart from one random tweet I've seen nothing to prove this. If he has however the Bees fans will maybe be more comfortable about the future if Sandhu bought the club back from Horton, that will show some sort of commitment to find somewhere new. I am very dubious that it is Sandhu who has bought Brandon however.

Yep I'm also looking forward to this, never managed to go to Leicester before its usually rained off when I plan to go but the weather looks perfect for today.

I'm more inclined to think Sandhu will more likely be in a position to find us a new home if he has rebought the site and confident of redevelopment. He would make a shed load of cash if planning permission is ever successful. Whether he actually wants to find us a home is another matter.

I'm very tempted to make the trip.

No improvement in Howarth? A 4pt man who was averaging 6 in the 2nd half of last season. Still young also, tonnes of improvement to come. The rest I can see your point but I think Harris will have an improved season.

Coventry Kings Lynn Poole Belle Vue Eastbourne Swindon Wolves Lakeside Leicester Birmingham Top 4 is in no particular order but I see Eastbourne and Swindon just missing out.

The away number 3 also has 3 of their rides in the tactical zone. I agree having Kyle at 2 and Ryan at 4, Ryan will gain a lot of heat victories in heat 14 which could prove crucial, need experience in that heat.

Apparently prices are £25 for Adults, U12s free, 12-16 £5, Concessions £20. For me personally its going to cost me £25 for me and my daughter which I think is ok for 22 heats of speedway but for fans who dont take kids or are couples they may find it difficult to afford them prices. I would have thought they would have reduced the price as its on Sky.

So how would you line up the Bees side? Would you be inclined to still have Hans at 1 to get a good gater in heat 1 but then either Harris or Hansen wouldl have the difficult number 5 spot. Someone suggested having your best rider at 3 because they have 3 rides between the tactical zone of 5-11. Some thinking to do for Havvy.

So with these 8 man teams are they using the old format that was used in test series in the good old days? They used to be 8 man teams didnt they.

Much will depend on how much it will all costs. How much did it cost Leicester for there site and stadium? A gradual build of the stadium will probably be the way to go.

It would be the rental figure that will be a stumbling block unless they think a move there can increase attendances significantly. I wonder what the figure is at Brandon? Reported in the telegraph the greyhounds wont be returning as license has been revoked and they lost 500k in 2 years

Apparently its against FL rules these days and the club should keep well away from Sisu. Also this new stadium for CCFC will never happen. To maintain crowd levels it has to be in the City or on the boundry similar to Brandon, inside the City would improve crowds im sure.

So who rates the Storms chances this year? If im honest I dont know an awful lot about some of the NL riders but this side looks very good to me.
