Any postponement for this meeting is down to him so im sure he will get regular updates, id be surprised if he, Neil or Blayne didnt go and have a look tomorrow or Thursday. A lot of track work shouldve been done in that time.

Apart from today the forecast is quite favourable and under normal circumstances the track should be ok for Friday. After today its only isolated pockets of rain and Friday itself is dry. Get the track raceable on Friday, cancel the NL meeting on the 4th then it will give them 2 weeks to get it spot on for the season.

You would think they wouldve done a lot of work yesterday to try and sort it out. Today the weather looks poor but the rest of the week looks mainly dry with the odd shower.

I agree it is the stadiums fault regarding the state of the track and the fact they have decline an interview in my opinion is poor. I assume Mick hasn't said he could have done things better? Been at a family dinner, a bit rude listen to the radio at the table haha.

We doubt we will be sharing tracks this season, fitting in fixtures after they've already been announced would be a complete nightmare. The future its a possibility if Horton and Sandhu can't sort it out.

Everyone in this situation has to share some of the blame, Horton for not being at the track at the agreed time to relay messages to the bspa over the track. The actual staff for not getting a track to a sufficient standard and not doing what riders and officials asked for on Sunday. Finally the bspa, I believe officials were there in the morning so why wait till 5.30 to postpone? Was it even close to going ahead? No one would have even batted an eyelid had they postponed it at lunchtime.

Whats not sinking in? Everyone involved is to blame and should have done a lot better. Its is petty, the its not my fault attitude from all involved is poor. Everyone made a mistake along the way its time they admit it. Tapes up at 6pm tonight will be interesting to hear, Mick Horton, Chris Harris and Jeremy Heaver on the show.

Im looking at it from both sides. Yes Horton shouldve been there and relaid information that was poor from him but im not so sure it wouldve made any difference. Officials were there from Sunday morning but yet the cancellation wasnt confirmed until around half 5 on Sunday, all that is the bspa doing it was their meeting not Hortons. As I said why didnt the track curator do what he was asked, riders and officials asked for it, maybe if he did it a meeting might have took place last night. Track staff, stadium officials, bspa and Horton should take the blame and just move on and not get into petty arguments.

That bend was relaid a couple of months ago. It was a BSPA event, I dont think Horton had the authority to cancel did he? Also riders and official ask for it to be bladed, why wasnt it done. The track being wet sounds like a naff excuse to be honest. Also Horton has said he wont race until its safe, surely thats a fairly reasonable request?

Its not the end yet, if they didn't want the Bees to continue they would surely just not let them on site.

My hopes for the season: To start the season and to finish the season Simple.

Id like to know if Sandhu has sold the site to someone else does he still get the rent and refreshment sales during the 3 year lease? If thats the case he wont be happy either as he would have lost out too. Too many questions need answering, Sandhu needs to come forward, show us some respect and tell us what the hell is going on. It could be quite simply a mistake hiring this track man but it could also be something much more sinister. Only if I could win the lottery hey.

Even if Horton wanted to have his own track man the stadium wouldn't go with it. The stadium run many different events during the course of a year, they are NOT going to let an non employee of the stadium work on the track. The track makes a lot of money for the stadium so it makes sense for them to have there own team. Whoever is the owner has made a huge mistake getting rid of the old track curator. As mentioned above he produced a decent track for P&P.

Its what happens when you rent a stadium, you are always reliant on the owners to be decent and get the decisions right.

The stadium runs other events so for them it makes sense to have there own staff. If I owned the stadium I wouldnt want someone turning up working on my track that wasnt an employee of mine. I dont see how he can be blamed for what happened today, he was told there would be no issues for today. Unfortunately he cant be at the track morning, noon and night. The track man is obviously not good enough to do the job, Horton has now released a statement to put pressure on the owners to sort it out, there isnt much more he can do.
