No conspiracy here, I read yesterday that the track in Austria would not be ready for the meeting. I remember looking at pictures of the venue last year and the track was in a right state a few hours before the meeting

My dad is visiting the UK from abroad so he will be attending this, his 1st meeting in a long time. Let's hope the Bees put on a show.

Other riders have disappointed in meetings this season did you tweet them your disgust? Just seems people are targetting him at the minute. He will get it right, he always does eventually. Tweet just seemed harsh to me but lets hope for a better performance at the weekend.

Thing is I never understood with Bomber was constant changes to his gear and crew every year, he needed consistency there. Far as im aware everything is the same this year so I would expect him to improve as the season goes on. He is over in Poland today with Bridger testing equipment so he certainly isnt letting it lie, he knows it hasnt been good enough so far. I hope and predict this thread will be dead and buried after the weekend meetings, 16+ from the two meetings should do that.

There was a negative attitude towards it anyway, Kerr said it was like concreate before the meeting. Bomber was interviewed during the meeting, all riders were thinking it so he is obviously going to say something about it especially with whats gone on with the track recently. The track is an important part of a meeting, he wasnt exactly struggling and the Bees were ahead at the time of the interview so I dont see how he was using it as an excuse.

Your riders slated the track aswell, when Harris does it he is making excuses but when other riders said the same no one claims they are making excuses. I agree with th rest of your post though

There is a possibility we might have to replace Ryan Fisher. His family have been refused entry into the UK and has said he will quit if they are not allowed back in. Tough times for him, you wouldnt have thought he had this in the background with the way he has started the season.

Of course it can, thats why in all sports more often than not the home team wins as they have more SUPPORT.

Yet Coventry signed Howarth under Pooles nose and Matt Ford had a hissy fit, he really doesnt like being beaten.

Regarding the track most riders said the same yet when Bomber says it people say he is making excuses. I do expect an improvement from him as the opposition isnt as great as Kings Lynn and Poole plus the fact he did score 11 at Leicester guesting for Wolves. He is also testing his equipment tomorrow so he is trying to improve his fortunes. He cant afford another couple of meetings like the last one.

Bomber seems to start every season poorly then improves as it goes on and I see no reason why that wont happen again. Bomber is a reasonable guy and a chat will im sure sort it out.

Im enjoying it very much, much more heat leaders v heat leaders which produces interesting heats. There was also quirks in the old format like the home number 2 last ride was heat 10. There will always be anomalies in whatever system they use

If Bomber can average 7 he has more than done his job in my opinion and I dont think its fair comparing him to Holder and Bjerre they average 2 points more than him. You will see a lot of heat leaders dropping there average so if Bomber can get a 7 average thats got to be a success although he does need to improve. We will more of a gauge of Bombers overall form after the weekend meetings. I think your harsh on Garrity to, he has been injured and Blayne said he has suffered bikes problems which he has disguised well as I couldnt tell.

Greenwood can certainly beat Smart.

I dont think R/R will make much difference to Birmingham, it not like Barker has been on form so far. Starke is a big miss though, who will guest?

Just watched last nights meeting, why did Hans sweep across Hansen in 15? It looked like he had the speed to challenge Janowski, oh well. We were a bit unlucky not to get a point with Fishers guaranteed heat win over Grazcjonek ruined by bikes issues, Harris rode well in one heat when he looked for Hans when a first heat victory was on the cards, shame the rest wasnt the same. Still a lot to look forward to this season for us Bees fans. Oh and Hansen was superb!

The M69 derby is back as a league fixture which should ensure a big crowd. Bees at full strength I believe and looking for a big points haul over the weekend.

Harris only scoring 3 wasn't good enough tonight but its to early to call for him to be replaced. He has had 2 average meetings and one very poor meeting so far, I'm interested to see how he does in the two meetings against Leicester. Scored well there guesting for Wolves so we should expect similar and to be honest he should have the beating of most of the Leicester top 5 at Brandon. Whether he does perform is another matter.

To early for that but he can't put in results like that. Read a stat tonight, the away number 5s are averging 5.5 just shows how tough that position is.

That statement applies to almost every rider in the world yet you use it to attack Bomber. Poor.
